Default Emboss with Palette Inks?

I'm getting ready to place my first Papertrey order (I'm so excited!), and I'm thinking about trying out a Palette ink. Can you use embossing powder with Palette?

Nope, it dries too quickly to be a good embossing ink but you can use it on glass (needs to be heat set) and other mediums.

I embossed by first stamping on Versa-Mark, then on the Palette Ink - stamping and quickly putting on clear embossing powder and heat-setting. Worked well.

I've read of others doing this.. Yet to try it myself.. Does/Will the Versa-Mark affect the Palette Ink Pad adversely?
