– Ellison, the world’s leading manufacturer of award-winning, hand-operated die-cutting equipment, unveiled its newest machines and designs for the Sizzix shape-cutting and embossing system at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Summer 2008 trade show, July 18-20, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont (Chicago), Ill.
One of the most anticipated new releases is the introduction of the motorized Big Shot Express Machine. With just the push of a button, this electric shape-cutting and embossing tool leaves the crank behind by quickly cutting even the longest Sizzix dies in as fast as two seconds. The Big Shot Express is 100 percent compatible with the current Sizzix product library and carries an MSRP of $169.99.
With Bigz XL Dies, crafters can create everything from bags and banners to a French Fry Box, Box w/Tabs, and Peek-A-Boo Windows. Bigz XL Dies are available individually at an MSRP of $34.99.
Movable magnetic dies known as Movers & Shapers create a card or envelope with a window anywhere desired for a truly unique shape-cutting experience. Dynamic add-on window dies, photo corners and other shapes enhance any collection and artistic vision. MSRPs range from $8.99 to $14.99.
Themed offerings make a splash with die assortments for Circus, Celebration, Christmas by Dena Designs, Halloween by Brenda Pinnick, Hello Kitty� by SANRIO�, me & my BIG Themed offerings make a splash with die assortments for Circus, Celebration, Christmas by Dena Designs, Halloween by Brenda Pinnick, Hello Kitty� by SANRIO�, me & my BIG ideas, Ornament, Valentine by Scrappy Cat, as well as Tween by Dena Designs. Releases range from Sizzlits 3-Die Sets, Decorative Strip Dies, Originals and Bigz XL to Embosslits and Embosslits XL dies, as well as Texturz Texture Plates, Clear Stamps and Little Sizzles Paper.
