Anyone own it and have card pictures posted or can give opinion on it? I bought one today, but I'm not sure I will like it. I've seen a picture of a punched border piece of paper but can't find any finished cards using it. Tell me whether to return it or open it!
You guys crack me up! I've done the same thing, but not with this particular item. Bought it, became terrified to open it, because I didn't have any idea what I would do with it.
What's wrong with us?

In the end, I chickened out and returned it. I guess my problem had been that I have hoping MS would come out with a Frank Lloyd Wright style Punch around the Page set. When I saw this stamp I thought it looked like the Wright style. Then my buyer's remorse set in when I considered it was called "plaid". Plaid? I don't want plaid! Hope this link to an image works: Plaid Edge Punch by EK Success - Two Peas in a Bucket
I've never tried this one, but once I bought a different EK Success Border Punch that I hated. When you punched, the punched piece separated from the base of the card so all I would get is a short card with no design! Don't know if I explained it well, but it was the worse punch ever. And I have several of theirs I love...
Kathy, there are a lot of new border punches that make trim rather than cut an edge. It's really hard to tell from the image on the packaging. I think they use the word trim or chain in the name description. Use them like ribbon trim on a card. I especially like the MS ones, like the one you can thread ribbon through.

I see what you're saying. Maybe that's what I had and didn't know it! It's not what I wanted though, so I gave it away. You've got me curious now. I am going to see if I can find it on the web and see what they say about it. THAT would be why it didn't do what I wanted. It might not have been supposed to! Thanks!
Okay, I found the one I had. You can look at it here: EK Tools | Screen Chain Edger Punch It was an edger punch. I think I just lined it up wrong each time I tried to use it, but it cut the whole edge off...
Wow, even EK Success can't get it right! They should not be using the word edger for that model! I looked up that model punch on the Frantic Stamper web site, and it doesn't use the word "edger" at all, plus makes a note that it doesn't do a border.

Well it's good to know I wasn't doing it wrong...no wonder it didn't do an edge for me. Thank you for this information. I will pass it along to the person I gave that punch too! I told her I hated it, but she still wanted it. Maybe she figured it out by now, but if not, I will tell her. I appreciate your feedback and research for me!
