DUDE - Target MAILBOXES
Yep - they are BACK! Remember those lovely alterable mailboxes from the dollar spot last year? Well, my SIL found them at Target here in TX! And they have PINK this year!

yep! $1! now it may have been a fluke that ours had them out so early - we were unable to find them at any other target in the area.

It's only a 5 minute drive so I don't mind checking. Just have to figure out where my car keys are first.

There are non here in Az yet Emily, do you think Texas is too far to drive
I also notice the fronts aren't hinged on this year I hope it doesn't become a nuisance. Any ideas? I called a Target here and she said they only had one left so I drove over there to see it. It was pink and the door was mssing . Maybe that lady was you! Did you drive over here and take my mailboxes?

I went to Target yesterday and the dollar spot was pretty much depleted. I missed them last time around if our Target even carried them. I hope I am able to get some this year. I think it would be great to have family mailboxes where we can write notes to each other and get our own personal mail. I think the kiddos would love that. :0)

Ours had them in Wisconsin too. But only a little (which I took - well paid for). And yes, the doors are separate but they fit very nice.

I saw some at the Target in Clarksville TN. Didn't pick any up though..I know, I know..crazy!
I was just afraid that they would sit in my To Alter box and never get finished.

Question
I went out and bought a couple of them. They are so cute! My question is, what do you use to adhere the paper to them?
Many thanks.

Do you use modge podge on these or what? Very very cute! I've never done an altered tin so I'm not sure where to start.

Thanks for the info. How much are they? $1? $2.50? My daughter is having a birthday party in a few weeks. They'd make cute favors.

Keep trying if yours doesn't have them. They are for Valentine's Day and ours still had lots of Christmas stuff to get rid of. Once that stuff gets clearanced out, there should be more for the shelves. Sometimes they are in the back storage area too and if you can find a clerk not too busy, they will go back and check - I have!
