Talking Don't have a Cuttlebug?... Try this!

I really want a Cuttlebug. But I am going to wait until I save up enough to buy one. I know they are only $40 at creativexpress.com ... I am all about not going into debt for instant gratification!
So. I was thinking about the Cuttlebug last night and how it works. You can read my blog about my thought process... you can find the link in my signature.
So I came up with the idea of using a pasta roller instead of a Cuttlebug. I tried it out with one of my embossing folders I picked up on clearance and it worked great! I was pretty pumped! Just wanted to share in my excitement I was pretty impressed with myself.
I will still buy a Cuttlebug But my Pasta Roller will work until then!

sorry, you aren't the first to come up with that idea. it's been posted many times before. also some people are strong enough to get the same results with just a rolling pin..

me..I don't own a pasta roller and am too wimpy for the rolling pin..so I spent the $40 hehheehhe

actually by the time I bought the folders and a couple of dies..yeah..it wasn't $40 any more

I have never heard of using it either and I'm on here all the time. But I do miss a lot of stuff. thanks for sharing.
I'm a lazy stamper and don't like all the sandwiching so I just use my big red Sizzix. You can get them really cheap.

I use a pasta maker for my Cuttlebug folders and it's fantastic! In fact I just bought more folders over the weekend, including a few for my friend for Christmas. Just need to get her a pasta maker too!;)
