Default Does anyone know if....

The texture plates from the Stampin up catalogue work in the Cuttlebug. I know some of the dies and the embossing folders do but will the texture plates work as well? Thanks ladies!!

Yes they do. Your sandwich is A plate, texture plate, cardstock, silicone mat, Impressions pad. The silicone mat and impressions pads are available through Stampin' Up!
I have a Big shot and I also use a shim between the multipurpose platform and the texture plate so you'd have to experiment with your cuttlebug.
Just so you know the embossing isn't as deep as it is with an embossing folder. But if you very lightly spritz your cardstock with water it makes it a bit deeper.

They absolutely work!!! I have tried them in both machines, and depending on what type of cardstock you use, you may need an extra shim or two to get the depth of impression that you're looking for. Jem's got the sandwich all layed out for you, and you will find that adding a spritz of water deepens the impression.

Good luck! I see that you're just a hop, skip and a jump away from me!

Thanks Ladies!! Thanks Jem for the sandwich layers. I appreciate that.

Wendy, yes we are in Uxbridge! Used to live in Whitby for years but when we found our dream home we couldn't pass it up so here we are.
