Question Do I need an Ott Lite?

Do you have an Ott Lite? Are they that great? Should I get one?? Do they really make that much of a difference? Sorry for all of the questions! I have revamped my guest/craft/exercise room and now the light is ... lacking. So before I drop the money on one, I wanted to find out from some experts if it was worth it!! Thanks!

I don't have an Ott light, but I do have a natural day light desk lamp that I bought at Home Depot (I believe it was about $40.) I craft in my basement so the lighting is terrible. This has helped a lot.

I have a daylight lamp I got at Shopko on sale for about $30. I love it for low light times. You don't *need* it, but it gives you an amazing sense of true color that I have a hard time getting without natural lighting.

When my dh built my stamping room, we installed under cabinet lighting and I was able to find ott lites that fit in the light fixture. The lighting is wonderful and very helpful. I would really miss mine, if I didn't have it.

I have a Tensor desk lamp that I bought at Lowe's for less than $40. It looks nice, and brightens my entire workspace. I wanted an OTT, but decided to spend the money I saved on the light on more stamping supplies!

I have an Ott light that I find very useful. I actually use it quite a bit, especially when I'm photographing work for submissions. I picked mine up at Costco a couple of years ago and I have yet to have to change the bulb!

I love my Ott light! I would hate to do without it! I have the tabletop model and thought about getting a floor model as well.

I also have a daylight lamp, purchased at Costco. They seem to sell out as fast as they get them. Mine was $30.00 Canadian and I absolutely love it. No more eye strain.

I bought mine for quilting by my chair but I use it for reading too. I don't have one in my stamp room tho. I love it & have had it for a few years now & have not had to change the bulb & I use it all of the time.

I got one before Christmas and don't know how I did without it, especially working at night. I had a lamp with a Reveal light bulb that is suppose to show true colors but it didn't, and I didn't realize it until I got my OTT. They are worth there weight in gold!!!

Get one! It is the best lighting. I bought one from JoAnn's when it was 50%. At the time I was wearing glasses, and my vision was not too good. Since then, I have had cataract surgery, and my eyesight has improved, no let me rephrase that, I received a miracle! I went from a -17 to a 20/30. Shout Hallelujah somebody! I still enjoy my Ottlight. It gives you that bright daylight effect. You can use if for any project. You won't regret it.
