You are too funny! Of course, I know this. Still, I can better justify the purchase with all my "friends" saying what a wonderful thing it is. (Yes, I would jump off the bridge too, if it looked like fun, LOL!)

Thanks for everyone's input. I'll have to add it to my Christmas list now. I too thought I could live without it, didn't need it for the few folds I make. Since ladies have become convinced and that they'd never go back to the Fiskars, I'm in!

It's here! I can't believe how thin and light it is! Just looking at it, I can't believe how much I spent on it. What can I say? I'm cheap. ;)

Still, I confess, it makes the best score I've ever seen. I'm going to have to make projects just so I can score more, LOL!

Thanks for all of the enabling. I'm a happy buyer!

Mine came today too and I love it.

Try using it to make neato borders on your cards too! That really excited me.

I find myself making more boxes, more specialty fold cards now, because I know I won't get frustrated with all the wasted cardstock from a mis-score.

I love it because I put the paper down once, then make all the score lines I need.

And it's cool. LOL
I agee as well....no matter what you make, it looks very professional and crisp....I keep mine right at my feet to pull up to the table when I need it....always handy

Thumbs up

[QUOTE=Crafty Math Chick;7805785][QUOTE=Petals;7801213]..If it were a $15 item, I would be all over it. For $40, though, is it really that big of a help for the minimal scoring I do?

WHERE did you find one for only $40? Online the least expensive I can find is $57???

I think I was thinking of the Scor-It rather than the Scor-Pal. I ended up purchasing the Scor-PAL. I really like it! I am sorry I didn't buy it sooner! It enabled me to create a TON of Chris Simon's paper nugget boxes in very little time.

I may not have created much more than cards in the past, but with this new tool, I love that the door has been opened to new possibilities.

Hope you like yours as much as I like mine!

I got an email that Scor-Pal (different than Score-It) is available at Archiver's for only $40. You can order Scor-Pal via the website, but the postage is $8.75.

A very good Christmas present!

Got mine and I really like it!

I've had my Score Pal for a few months now and love it! I use it to make boxes and cards of all sorts. Much neater and more accurate than using the guides on a cutting mat or a metal ruler.

Once you score with it, use your regular bone folder to make the fold crisp.

I was lucky to have someone RAK one to me. I absolutely LOVE it. I use it all the time now and have so much fun making stuff wtih the tutorial from the scor-pal site. I had to make a treat box for my mom last night and it was SO much easier with the scor-pal vs ruler and bone folder. This is definitely something I can't live without now. I just LOVE it!!!

Well, I have a score - pal, and have had it for at least a couple of years - maybe more. I have never used it, and it is buried beneath the clutter in my craft room. Personally, it seems like so much bother to use compared to just making a fold!! Maybe sometime in the New Year I'll actually try to use.

I'm glad I have it in case I ever decide I will use it.... but I sure don't think it's a must have. My Cuttle bug yes, and my many other tools - but I just never use my score pal - and it takes up a lot of room. Just another perspective!!
