Default Distress Stains?

Distress Stains are on Blitsy this week, do I NEED them? I have most of the distressing pads which I love (and bought after posting a similar thread to this one a year or so ago, asking for your advice, thanks very much!) but not stains, and just wondering how you all like them and if you use them often. I already watched a few Youtube videos to see how they work and a few techniques, and I know they aren't a substitute for reinkers, just till on the fence.

(If you buy some, save some for me! Several colors are already sold out so I know I need to get a move on if I decide to purchase...help!) TIA!

I bought the whole set from Ellen Hutson: Complete Distress Stain Set

She has a frequent buyer program too so if you're in that you can save!

I LOVE distress stains. They are great on wood. Also I like to it spritz with water.

Two of my fave cards with them:

Eastertide Cross_STS_nlb by Phantom - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

and

Eastertide Eggs_STS_nlb by Phantom - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

The background was so quick and easy to accomplish with a few swipes of the daubers and the color is simply wonderful. I'm working on some wall art with a Distress Stain background - really fun to use!

I like the way Tim Holtz used them this Christmas season for his tags! They seem like a great art tool!

and stocked up on the blitsy sale : ) Make sure you order extra of the white because you may find yourself using it all the time.

Great product that can be used many ways.
