Default Cuttlebug w/chipboard

I'm hoping Santa brings me a Cuttlebug this year. One quick question- will it emboss or cut through chipboard?? Please say yes. Thanks for your help.

Well, I absolutel LOVE my CB, but I've never been able to cut chipboard with it. I've only tried this once--with no success-, so maybe I'm not the best one to tell you. Hopefulyy someone else will have a more difinitive answer for you.
Good luck!

I have been able to cut very thin chipboard. But it did have to be pretty thin! I hope you get your wish and Santa delivers!

I have successfully cut chipboard with my CB. It has to be the more "bold" dies, not the ones that are more intricately designed. I haven't tried embossing on chipboard though.

I have cut chipboard and embossed very successfully with my CB! I've used thin chipboard (cereal boxes, etc) and medium weight coasters. Both have done fine. I cracked by plates when I used it with the Sizzix dies, but that was quite awhile ago and supposedly the plates are made better now, and I haven't had one crack since then.

I LOVE embossing chipboard with the embossing folders. Looks really neat!
