Right now I just stand the embossing folders in a basket I have on a counter in my craft room. I'm going to be looking for something else soon, because it is almost full. I hope to get ideas from this thread.

I keep my cuttlebug stuff in one of those snapware stackable containers you can find at Target. It has four different compartments. I have on for my alphabets (you can fit I think four or so going across) one for the plates, embossing folders and one for any other dies. So far I haven't outgrown it yet and it works best for me everything is in one place. HTH
Staples sells these little mini cubes, they hold the A2 folders and long dies. The small sets of 4 and the little set of embossing folders I keep in one of my SU punch boxes with the CB on top! Works great!

I have very limited cuttlebug stuff considering I just got mine about a two months ago. I have bought a photo storage box (on sale). The embossing folders will stand on the sides (lengthwise) and the mats will stand top to bottom. I have put my cutting blades in an empty clamshell box (from unmounting) and store them in the phot box also.
A friend here on SCS sent me an altered tin with pieces of paper already CB'd. I only got my Cuttlebug Tuesday and I have 3 A2 embossing folders and the die and little folders that came with the machine - definitely easy enough to slip into the tin. Plus it says "Cuttlebug" on the front.
Scoping out ideas here too! Just got mine last Wed for my b-day from dh! Have 4 folders and 5 die sets sitting in a basket right now. Lovein' it! Can't wait to get more.....

I have the Cuttlebug binder... actually I have two! I absolutely love it! Everything is organized and in its own pocket. Here's a link to where you can purchase one. They are actually on waitlist at this site, but I bought my second one at a Joann's superstore near me. You might want to check out your local Joann's and then you could use a coupon!
I keep the small dies and small folders in the cuttlekid folder that holds the cuttlekid dies. The larger ones I just have in a drawer for now with all the other cuttlebug/sizzix stuff.

http://www.cropstop.com carries storage and they supposedly have free shipping in the United States.
I have purchased lots of the storage sleeves from Haylie-Jo. She is a great lady to work with.
The storage sleeves fit in a regular 3-ring binder. I have the ones for A2 folders, for 2x2 dies, for 3x3 dies et cetera. She also carries storage sleeves for Quikcuts and other dies.
She will let you know when folders and dies are in stock or when she is expecting them to arrive..... I finally found the paisley folder.

Ooooh, as soon as I read this I ran to my closet and took out the empty snapware thing I have and put all my cuttlebug goodies in there! Thanks for the idea. I like the storage binder but I haven't seen one in person, so I don't know whether I'll actually get one. But I love using something I already have! Man that snapware has held so many different things... ribbon, markers, brads and eyelets, card samples, etc. but now I suspect it has found a perfect fit.
Has anyone here been using "trading card" 9 pockets page with your own binder as I am? I do find it's a good way to put all my die cuts and embossing folders too. They fit there so well.

The little dies and folders fit in those. The big ones, no!! That's why I like the CropStop pages. There is something for every size.

Glad I could help. So far it has worked out great for me. I have not outgrown my storage yet although if they keep coming out with really cool stuff I am in trouble.
I use Cropstop storage sheets as well. They fit so well and are easy to store in a binder. She has all kinds for different products. I use her sheets for my Quickutz as well. I always get my order within 2-3 days after ordering. Haylie-Jo is great to work with.

Noel in TX........I use that kind of system also. I purchase my pages from Office Depot and store them in the clear binders they sell also.
I use the 4x6 picture pages they sell also for my A2 embossing folders and the 2x6 dies. You need to get the style that runs 4x6 horizontal. I put 2 2x6dies in each pocket side by side. The ones with 3 to a page are not a true 4x6 inside measurement.
I also use these to store my Sizzix sizzlet dies.
These are much less expensive than the Cuttlebug storage system.
I have the CB binder, too; and I absolutely LOVE it! I didn't realize how many of those little 2x2 embossing folders I had until I received my inserts- I filled up both sides of a page and a handful of spots on the next.
I bought my binder and inserts at www.bargainpack.com and didn't think it was unreasonably prices. The actual binder was $19.99 and the insers were $5.99 for a two-pack of each kind. So, storage for (8 ) A2 embossing folders or (48 ) 2x2 embossing folders/dies for six bucks. I really don't think that's expensive. And the binder came w/an insert that holds (2) A2 embossing folder, (2) 6x2 dies, (2) 3x3 dies/embossing folders, and (4) 2x2 dies/embossing folders.
I also love my cuttlebug binder! I actually bought 2, both at 40% off at a LSS, and put only alphabets in one and the rest in the other. It is so convenient to unzip and flip through to find what I want! I also wrote on each little holder pocket what goes there, so I can find stuff easily! I just store the binders up on end under the table where I have my cuttlebug out all the time along with my other "machines" such as the Xyrons and Crop-A-Dile.

I am looking for ideas on how to store the various sizes of Cuttle Bug dies and embossing folders.
I have a small supply but will probably get more in the future and if I have a good storage method, I will probably use them more
THANKS
I have more Sizzix than Cuttlebug (tho' I recently purchased a few Cuttlebug embossing folders at Michaels). I store them all in a decorative photo box next to my Big Kick on top of a dresser I have in my craft room. Right at my fingertips when I want them.
I purchased a tote from AC Moore that is brown suede with lime green interior from Creative Options. It holds the Cuttlebug and all my embossing folders (and I have about all the big ones) and the layering plates. Love..Love...Love it. Before I paid for it, I had the go get a cuttlebug from the back and we took out the divider (velco) and tried it first. I'm telling you, I love it.

Right now we are all visiting a lot with our bugginess. Mine are in a make up bag about six by nine, seven by nine.. and we have sharpied (written our initials in sharpie) each folder and die so we get the right ones back. So far I am the only one with the coveted Swiss Dots.
The bag is big enough I can throw the plates in there too
I don't see investing in the notebook, because you still have the issue of "where do the plates go?"
I bought a small plastic CD/photo storage container and just divided them by type (background, words, flowers, etc). So far it works out great as it is small, easy to see what I am looking for and it was 4.99 at my LSS
No doubt about it - there are some great storage options out there, but where do you keep all those cool boxes? I feel a serious need to spring clean so that I have room for the stuff that is really important. Bye bye to clothes that don't fit and hello more room for stamping!

I use 3 x 5 recipe boxes for my CB & SZX little dies and little folders. You can just flip them quickly and find what you need quickly if you leave a little extra room. The A2s are stored standing in an open cube gift box that works perfect at this time. I have most of the A2s, but will need to find another box when the next bunch come out. (Aw shucks!
Cheap, efficient and what I had on hand.
I found out that the plastic tray that comes in a bag of Chips Ahoy cookies is perfect for storing the small dies and embossing folders. It is ridged and each die/folder sits in it's own little space. I can flip through it and find what I need pretty easily. I keep it in a plastic box with a flip up lid right next to my bug. The large embossing folders and newer large dies fit great in a Provo Craft metal lunch tin. Works for me! I LOVE my bug too and use it mostly for embossing.
hey ya'll! I have one of those plastic three drawer carts from Sterlight that I bought at Target...it's very similar to this one and I think I paid about $10 or so...
In the first drawer I have my SU! gg ribbons, in the 2nd drawer I keep all of my CB A2 embossing folders, and in the 3rd drawer I have my CB die cuts. This works well for me...hth.

business card holders
Hi all,
I use a business card holder for the small dies and embossing folders, trading card sheets for the alphabet and 2 x 6 (use every second row) and a video storage box for my large embossing folders. All work very well and cheap!
I got by CB just before Christmas. Started just sitting the bits next to it, moved to standing them in a box and now I have two A5 concertina files - one for embossing and one for dies. So far everything is still in its original packaging, popped in the concertina pocket and little identification tag on the tab of the pocket. I guess as the collection grows even further, I may need a plan 'C'. Other brands fit in this system too, except for the 'fat' plates.
I think sorting and collecting the bits is half the fun of the whole card making thing. :-) Yeah for more cool tools!
I bought a large 3-ring binder from Staples. My folders go into photo protectors (2 on each side of the page) plus an embossed piece of cardstock to show the pattern. My small folders and dies go into the page protectors used for sports cards/ATC's (9 per page and I usually get them at the dollar store). The long dies are in the ATC holders also. Just slide your die in...take your xacto knife and slit the bottom enough for it to slip through and slide it into the next pocket directly below. Holds them perfectly and they are all together. The only problem is my 3" binder isn't large enough so I have to buy another one...or maybe..just maybe I have too many folders and dies?
