Is it part of the Circut stuff or not? Michaels has a 50% off coupon yesterday and today and so I was thinking of going and getting the cuttlebug, it I was able to use the coupon. Does anyone have an information to be able to help me here, before I head down.
I believe it is made by the same people as the Cricut. I didn't think you could use the coupon for it but I could be wrong. My BF bought one for me last week for Valentine's Day and paid full price. He won't be happy if he could have used the coupon. LOL
cuttlebug is made by provo craft, as is the cricut. The coupon only says it's not good on cricut. So... yes, you can use the coupon on the cuttlebug. Many people on here have and so did I.
It is made by the Same company but they are TWO totally different machines.
The coupon only states CRICUT and NOT PROVO CRAFT..
My local mngr at our store tried to tell me I could not use the coupon..
I raised a big fuss and went to another store and bought it there.
Good You want to be educated because some of these managers don't have a clue when it comes to the fine print..

I got mine at Michaels with a 50% off coupon and they didnt have a problem taking it. It ISNT a Cricut product.....it is a PROVO CRAFT product. They make them both. Get it.....you will LOVE it!! Janice
I GOT IT, I GOT IT, I GOT IT. I'm so excited. It's so much fun to play with. I only wish that I would have gone and got it earlier today so I had more time to play with it, and now I have to work tomorrow. Oh well. I love it already. I can't wait to see what I can do with it. I finally have one.
If they give you any trouble go to the Michaels website and get the customer service number give them a call and tell them what the trouble is and they will contact the store.

I used a Cuttlebug for the first time this weekend at an upline meeting. Now I haveto have one!! I wasn't going to get one since I just got my Sizzix in November, but now I want the Bug. Now ... to just find a 40% off coupon ... or maybe strike gold and get a 50% off !!

Yes they can as long as you have the system converter. I have a Sizzix and am using the embossing folders with no problems.
My Michael's would not let me purchase the bug with a coupon as the coupon says "not valid on Cricut products". I even sent me husband in a couple of days later, and they wouldn't let him use it either. I ended up purchasing a new one off the bay for the same price I would have if I had been able to use the coupon!

They were totally wrong! I was able to use mine at Michaels. The Cuttlebug is not a Cricut product. As someone earlier stated it is a totally different Provo Craft item.
The Michaels I went to yesterday had the embossing folders on sale for $3.99 and I was able to get a couple of new ones.
My Michael's did let me use my coupon for the Cuttlebug embossing folders. The girl called back and asked the manager and the manager said "yes, the coupons can be used on Cuttlebug products." I guess you just can't use it on that giant Cricut computer die cutting machine. :confused:

When I was there last night getting mine, the girl told me that she didn't know if it would accept the coupon for the bug or not. I asked why and she said because it's a cricut, I told her no, and showed her on the box where it states that it's made by the people who make cricut. She said that she just didn't know. I told her that if it didn't then I didn't want it. She scanned the coupon and it took $40 off. I would have argued it, like I was told to do.
I just came from MIchaels and bought a Cuttlebug. I did not have a coupon but told her I was from out of town and don't receive coupons and she let me get it anyway with 40 per cent off. All I had to do is show ID to prove I was from another town and sign a paper. I was happy!! Now to go play LOL.
