Default Cutter Bee Piercing Bugs

I picked up a pkg of the Cutter Bee Piercing Bugs at my LSS last night. The single row piercer works great, but the double row doesn't pierce my paper at all. I tried it on SU and on Bazzill. I've emailed their customer service dept about this problem but I wondered if any of you have purchased this and have the same problem? If I can't get the double row to work, I'm going to return the whole thing unless I can get the single row piercer individually. That thing rocks!

I just bought these about an hour ago. Haven't tried them yet. I'll try to do that in a little bit and get back to you!

Did you use SU cardstock? What did you have underneath?

Do you think Archiver's will have Cutter Bee piercers? I don't recall seeing any of the Cutter bee stuff there, but maybe I was distracted by all the gorgeous bling-blings and didn't notice them! ;) I know Jo Ann's carries the little Cutter Bee perforator and other stuff like SU kit. What exactly does the package look like? Are the tools "runner style", like the other Cutter Bee and SU perforators, etc - or are they designed differently? And are the single and double line piercers in the same package? (Can you tell I'm salivating about these new tools? ) Please, tell all!!!!

We don't have any Archivers up here so I have no idea if they would carry it. Yes, they look like the other 'bugs' and yes, they come two in a pkg. There are lt pink w/bright pink dots and bright pink w/lt pink dots. One is a single row, the other a double.

Default Use a mouse pad!

I've had good luck with my piercing bugs (both of them) when I use a mouse pad underneath the cardstock. Hope this tip helps!

Glad to see good reviews. I saw these two days ago at a local scrapbook store, and actually had it in my hand but put it back. I'll have to go get it!

Yeah! Can you give me a hint on what part of the store they are displayed in so I will know where to look before I get distracted? ;) Don't know if all Archiver's have the same floor plan, but I'm guessing they are pretty close, just to make things easier to stock. Thanks!

Thanks! This would explain why I wouldn't know where to look - I've never even looked at these items when I've been at Archivers. You unknowingly answered another question I had! Now I also know where to look for the Cutterbee oval cutter system that I saw recommended on another thread. Thanks for the info!
