CTMH Cardstock ~ Review Please

I love the colors in CTMH cardstock line and I was going to order it all until i saw "white core". So i thought before I committed myself to so much cardstock I needed to come and see what Users think

1~ Will the white core break thru when I use scor-pal?

2~ Will the white core break thru when I emboss with nesties or a cuttlebug?

3~ How well will memento ink and versafine ink work with the cardstock?

4~ How do Copics do with CTMH cardstock?

5~ How well does CTMH cardstock work with Cricut and Pazzles?

I have a bit of this cardstock and can answer a few things:
1. Depends on how hard you press. A light score will not reveal white.
2. Yes -- most people like that look.
5. My CTMH rep cuts hers with Cricut all the time and it works best on designs that aren't super detailed. Some detailed designs need parts "coaxed" out.
Looks great torn.
I like SU! colors better and I'm more used to solid, not white, cores but it's fun to play with other stuff sometimes!

I have both CTMH and SU. I think for cardmaking, I do prefer SU. I find the CMTH a little less thick. I do like the white core look once in a while. It looks great through the CB when I want that distressed look! Overall though...I do prefer the SU.

Now for scrapbooking, I prefer CTMH! ;) I say get both!! Ha Ha I am horrible enabler!

As for the cricut, I do find that for me, I prefer a thicker cardstock with a solid core, so I tend to reach for my SU. JMHO though.

I use CTMH almost exclusively and I have never had the white show through without extra effort to make it show. I love CTMH products and I haven't found anything the cardstock couldn't handle. I had to sand it to get the white to show through after running it through my friends CB.

I have a card on my blog HERE that shows the paper run thru the cuttlebug ~ I did have to sand it quite a bit to get the white to show thru (I'm trying to remember if it showed thru before I sanded ~ if it did it wasn't that much).

I'm not sure about any of your questions as I only have a limited supply of CTMH paper & only use it when I want the white core to show.

I am a CTMH Consultant so of course I have nothing but the best to say about our 60 colors of cardstock. With that being said ( lol ) when I use it with the C-bug it does show the White core a little bit, if I want more to show through I use our sanding block. I have many ppl buy it just because of the White core and the C-bug combo effect.

An advantage of the White core is that when you want to distress the edges, which is very popular right now, you will get the true color of the ink because you are distressing onto the White core edge.

I don't have a Cricut or Nestabilities so I can't help you there but I wish you luck with your search and I think owning something from many of the stamping/scrapping companies is a good thing anyway ( or so my addictions tell me,lol )
