Holy Cow!!! nice way... wait til everybody already has the orig... ;) I wonder what the price will be..
Well, I love my pink one and will just continue using my widdle hammer to set eyelets in the center of my scrapbk pgs! I just can not justify 2 CropADiles. Especially since I finally convinced myself that I need a Cuttlebug from M's + coupon! Hmmm... wonder if M's will get in the CAD II... Well, a lady can dream!
Thanks, Julia, for the heads up! I'm going to watch... very interested to see it work!
May God bless, Sandi

Even if I don't buy it, can't wait to see it demo'd. They always have such great ideas!

Ooooh... it's going to be launched at midnight. Maybe it will be a Today's Special!

Anyone want to venture a guess at the price??? I'm thinking $34.99!

I'm wondering if it's worth just getting the new one. I still haven't ventured out to buy the old one yet. Or maybe the old (smaller) one will be cheaper once this one comes out...?

Can you tell where the hole puncher is on that thing.. the first time my husband looked at the Crop-a-dile he said it looked like an ancient torture device.. that new one looks like something you'd pick up at Home Depot or Lowes!

From just looking at the photo, the holes for the punchers are right behind the eyelet setter on the bottom piece. You can see a small one and a larger one right behind it. Looks like there's a slider on top to select the part you need to press down.

Looks nice and ergonomic, but bigger and needs table space. Not crop friendly. I'm anxious to watch the demo, but I think I can live without.

I know I would be getting it for sure if I didn't already have the original version. I would love to have the 6 inch reach! I'm going to be watching tonight to see it for sure.

This I might buy!!! I don't have the other one cause it just didn't make sense (to me) to buy another setting tool with a minimal reach distance (yes...even with the ability to punch through all the stuff it does)...and to think I was going to use my 40% off coupn on the old one this week at Hobby Lobby! Good thing I waited This is exciting!

LOL... I agree with the poster who said it looks like it came from Lowes or Home Depot! I don't scrapbook, so I'm not sure I need this. Besides, I haven't even take the original Crop-A-Dile I bought about 10 days ago out of the package! I'll at least wait until this hits Michaels or Joanns so I can use a 40% off coupon.

I needed this Saturday! I made a paperbag scrapbook and because the paperbags were so thick, the jumbo eyelets I wanted to use didn't go through to the back. I had to add eyelets from both sides. Since I couldn't get the cropodile to reach the middle holes, I had to pull out my ancient eyelet tool and hammer.

This is definitely going on my wishlist! But I'm willing to wait till I can use a Michaels coupon to get it.

Would be nice to know if it is going to be in the stores with the extras HSN is offering. I hope not but you never know!

The longer reach makes it just PERFECT.

I've loved my original one but did want a longer reach. I can't wait until this is available in the UK ... thank you for posting this

LOL! I'm glad I'm not the only one ordering. I was so excited to see the longer reach and the fact that it is easier to use than the original. Plus we get all those fun grommits. I also ordered the eyelet tin, it was super cute and not a bad price IMHO. I hate that they charge so much for s/h tho!

See.....the manufacturers just need to make all of our tools look like guy stuff and they'll let us get it! Hee Hee!

I love the long reach. I couldn't survive without my CAD.......maybe I can sell the old one to someone once i get the new one.

Thanks for letting me know about this. I just purchased one from HSN. I was going to buy one from SU during Sellabration, but this looks much more versatile. Can't wait for it to arrive. Thsi is also my first purchase from HSN and I felt so "with it".

OK, so I have the old one and still just bought the new one. I was looking at the website, and asked dh if he wanted to get me an early birthday present(March). He asked what it was and how much it cost. When I told him it was only $40, he didn't hesitate to say yes. I guess $40 is cheap compared to most of his tools, or his golf stuff. So, I've never ordered from HSN. What does extended delivery mean? Am I going to get this in the next month or so? I can't wait to get it!

I just ordered online during the first presentation and HSN is already tagging the the Crop#2 as a back-order or as they label it (on extended delivery). This is not being stated during the presentation. My estimated shipping is February 4th...I was hoping to receive it along with the carrying case/storage box that is expected to arrive on January 25th. It is also on extended delivery. I wonder how many they actually have/had in production that was ready for shipment with this actual debut on HSN. Mine is not coming soon enough, but I am looking forward to seeing it up close and in personal. I was just hoping for a longer reach one just a few days ago when I needed to punch a hole farther in on a project I was working on.

wow.

12x12" spinner scrapbook page with peek-a-boo grommet center comes to mind...

12x12" spinner magnet of "clean" and "dirty"
that a family will actually read for on the dishwasher door

or making a really good twistergame-type spinner
so the kids can paint dots on a sheet and save me 39.99 and the noise of the new electronic version

that's all I have really, off the top of my head...
other than those...
I'll probably wait until march at least....

on the other hand...

spew alert:
If it can put holes 6 inches in...
maybe the bikers and punks will buy so many that the price will come down...

I just ordered it! I'm going to a HUGE crop on 2/9.......HSN said it will be delivered around 2/4....I hope so. How much fun would that be to be one of the girls (I'm sure I won't be the only) with a BRAND NEW toy??? LOL!!

I *never* order stuff off tv, but that, I just had to have it! Poor DH (literally & figuratively )
