Crinkled Rayon Seam Binding?

I went to Jo-Ann's today thinking I would be able to find rayon seam binding that I could crinkle myself. Wrong. All they had was polyester, cotton-looking stuff, and they didn't know what I was talking about. Then I searched on Etsy and they have it in abundance. My question is, why can't I find this rayon seam binding anywhere in the United States so I can color it myself? All my searches lead me to Etsy, Amazon, or Ebay.

I have got the plain cream Hug Snug binding from zipperstop.com. I dye and crinkle it all the time.

Thanks. I did not realize this was rayon. It looked like cotton to me. I didn't make it clear, but I was trying to find a resource other than ordering online.

Thanks. I did see that website and one other but I was trying to find this item in a local store in Los Angeles where I could just walk in and buy some. Looks like I will have to order online and learn to color it myself.

I believe that rayon is now a 'vintage' seam binding. You may find a store that handles packaged vintage seam binding.

I ended up buying six or seven bundles of pre-made washed and crinkled rayon seam binding in colors that I like from two sellers on Etsy. I don't mind supporting the small business ladies as long as I can get the colors that I like. Thank you all for your help.
