I ordered thru the infomercial offer because I wanted the ability to pay over time. Just makes getting one that much easier....instead of saving up for 6 months to get one I can have it now and play with it for the 6 months I'm still paying for it.
I ordered it Jan. 2nd and I got it yesterday. I live in MI and it shipped from UT!!!!!! I was thrilled!! then I got the Indie Art cart at M's for $25.
I got my expression for my birthday last year, when they went on sale at michaels for 349.99$ Canadian...at that time that was the best deal out there...without paying tons of shipping from the US. Mine came with accent essentials and plantain school book and one 12x12 mat. I told my husband I would never need anymore cartridges because I had the 2. Now 2 months shy of my Expression being a year old I have over 40 of them! Addictive lil buggers they are...but in my defense every single one of them EXCEPT paper dolls, I got on sale! I love my expression, there are so many features of it!

Did I mention I am the most frugal person I know, If i can't find it cheaper no one can!!
I still agree the payments without interest make it a pretty sweet deal!!
Thanks for all the info. I love my expression. I am ready to start playing with the vinyl. Can I ask where you found the great price on the transfer tape? Thanks in advance for the help.

www.signwarehouse.com has vinyl and transfer tape. That's where a friend gets his for car decals. He gave me some to play with and I've been having a ball....and it's so much better value for the $$$$.
i called custom crops, and there was an error in my order but are shipping today. yippie!!
im so happy!
I got my E from Custom Crops too and got it quickly! This was before Christmas so I probably lucked out! I recently bought the Jukebox and the Design Studio from them along with some extra mats (great prices!!) but didn't realize that the Jukebox was b/o'd. Found out when the package came, minus the Jukebox. I've been fortunate as any time I've contact CC, they've replied quickly. I have them on the top of my list for stores to buy from!!
My DH and DD got mine throught the Cricut website and we think it was well worth it! I got the Potpourri Basket that is selling on Ebay for $175.00+! I love the Potpourri Basket as it has soooo much on it! The Plaintin Cartridge is great too.
You might get it at Wal-Mart for 289.00 BUT.....you don't get ANY cartridges and the other goodies that come with it!
So decide for yourself. At Wal-Mart if you use it, you might not get your money back....they have a funny policy on electrical items.
The $289 Wal-Mart version does come with cartridges. I believe it is the 2 original ones. The one I purchased from Custom Crops came with the Plaintin Cart and the Accent Cart. There are definitely other places out there that take the carts out but not all of them...
Woohoo....I just ordered mine. I called DH and told him everything and he said "order it". I'm so EXCITED...Ok, I should probably get back to work.

I havent seen the stamp making kit anywhere but on line,I have seen the demo once for it but it is expensive. go to cricut.com and it will have a picture of it there.
I dont have a blog so i can show you pictures og what i have made so far but will work on that soon.
I have only had my cricut expression for almost 3 months only a few cartridges
Gloria Harvey ;)
great card!
question? if i want to cut a shape a lot of times. how do i do it on the cricut expression.
i have some wedding invites to do, and need to make multiple cuts.
I still haven't received my Cricut and three cartridges from Custom Crops, I ordered it Dec 21 2008. I received my charge card statement today and I have been charges for it. I don't like having my purchases charges to me before they ship my merchandise. I checked my UPS tracking it hasn't been shipped yet. I e-mailed them and asked where it was.
I would call them to see the status. When I called them they saidd they had some problems with the computer.
And right away fixed and shipped my order the next day
Custom Crops is saying the 1st of Feb now before the Backorder is in on the Cricut. When I do get the Cricut, does anyone know what cart it is that makes the cutout on the from of the card that was shown on TV???
Woohooooo. I ordered mine last week, and the nice man in blue (postman) rang the doorbell this afternoon. I was sooo happy to see a big brown box on my doorstep. As soon as dinner is done and cleaning is done, I will be taking her out of the box and go exploring
where have u guys shopped for mats for the expression. ive used it up pretty bad since i got my expression ;)
or how are u guys making them sticky again.
I haven't used mine enough to ask this question, but I know that when I get it set up and use it on a regular basis, which will be soon...I am going to have the same question.
I found only 1 at Joann's and haven't seen them stocked since. It's been a few months. I'm going to place an order from Wolf Camera. It's the best price that I've found.

what creations have u guys made with your cricut. so far, I've done a lot of tags, for valentines, and also gift bags. love the cricut so much
has helped so much !
my husband saw an informercial on saturday on how to use the cricut, he got really into it, cause he told me all the stuff i have to buy now. He is like did u know you can make signs for wall!! lol
I told him yup, u just have to buy me the stuff ;)
That is funny, because I had my husband sit down and watch the one online and he was amazed. We had been talking about having a small business making stuff using the expression and then once he saw the infomerical, he was like "wow you can do so much more".
