Question Cricut cartridges linked to Gypsy...

What happens when you link a Cricut cartridge to the Gypsy? I've noticed in the BUY/SELL/TRADE forum that it is often mentioned that a cartridge has NOT been linked. Does it damage the cartridge in some way?

Thanks for the info.

You just can't link it to another Gypsy. They're fine in the cricut.

So...once someone links it to their Gypsy, you can't sell it to someone else who wants to link it to their Gypsy. Wow! Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I appreciate it.

RavioliGirl....What you ask in Post #3 is exactly correct. A cartridge can only be linked to one Gypsy, ever. BUT that same cartridge can still be used in any Cricut machine.

Thanks for asking and for the replies.. I often wondered what that meant as well.
