This question caught my eye as I have some CM DP and didn't know they made cardstock. My sister is heavy into CM and I think they make strictly scrapbooking items. I looked at the paper I have from them and there is no mention of paper weight. Just went to their website and lo and behold under New Products is cardstock! Intrigued I had to check it out, again, no mention of weight...hmmm, don't think I'd buy it just for that reason.

The weight of CM cardstock is 60 lb., and, for anyone interested in going green, the paper mill CM works with plants 3 new trees for every one they harvest to make the papers with.
Their cardstock is a lot lighter than most what you think of as cardstock. The recent mini catalog had it and the price also is a little higher than some other cardstocks. But again when I am at my CM consultants and I need cardstock I get it ...

That's interesting...and good for the environment!

I did notice the price went up...but everything has! I like the lighter cardstock for scrapping -- makes great layers! I've never tried it for cards though....
