Default Creative Memories Decorative Trimmer

Does anyone have the Creative Memories Decorative Trimmer, and if so, how do you like it?

http://creativememories.com/MainMenu...rative-Trimmer

I like the look of curved layers on cards, but am terrible with freehand. I was hoping this trimmer will help.

Please post your thoughts. Thanks!

I have this and I just love playing with it! I have used it on my scrapbook pages but I never really thought to use it on my cards!! DUHH!!!!

I think it would work nicely on a card though!

I have the old kind and don't use it often, but I do like it.

The new one would worry me a bit because I am so hard on my tools -- I know that the plastic groove that the blade travels in would bend after awhile (like the Fiskars trimmer does for me). Although it does seem like thicker plastic than the Fiskars trimmer, so maybe it would do fine. CM is very reputable for their tools.

OK, so I don't have this one yet. But I do have their straight trimmer just like this one, and I have the old 12" pattern and blade set that cuts the same waves the dec. trimmer cuts. I really like my straight trimmer. It is very sturdy and cuts straight every time. And I really like the wavy cuts the 12"pattern cuts, perfectly even curves every time. If I could just
NOT buy stamps for a month, I would get the Dec. trimmer. I have used it at my consultant's home, and it is really a great trimmer. HTH

OOooo, I've never seen this before! I want one. I really suck at cutting curves with scissors so it looks good to me!

i have this and LOVE it!! if you cut the strips narrowly you can then "braid" them together for a really cool look!! have had this since it came out and use it constantly-no problem with it warping or not cutting true

This new trimmer works so much better than the old style -- i love mine and use it all the time! You get perfect cuts every single time w/ very little effort.

Hi - I bought this after I went to a scrap-a-thon and the consultant brought hers for us to use. It's fantastic! I find I'm not very good with scissors and cutting so this is ideal for me!

The new dec. trimmer is great because the paper doesn't move when you cut. You get even strips each time. I use it for scrapbooking and cards.

Wayyyyyy better than the old 12" pattern to cut the waves. With this you can cut them very thin and they will be EVEN the entire length of the wave! It's great!!!!!

Yes, it's awesome! Love love love it! I just bought the straight trimmer from my CM lady last night...just not loving our fiskars one.
You can't go wrong with this trimmer, you can make banners, water waves, the possibilities are endless!!
