corner rounder or slit punch for scallops
I know both work but wondered which you prefer. Thanks for your thoughts!

I have never tried the slit punch.. but use all three sizes of corner rounders that I have to make scallops and find them super easy to use.. just pop the corner aligner piece off and get to punching!

if you use the corner rounder you can create the scallop on the edge of your card.
if you use the slit punch you will end up with a strip of paper that has a scallop edge.
i hope this makes sense.
i am waiting for my slit punch to come in... excited!!!

I have tried the slit punch. I like it.
Is there any tutorials on how to use the round corner punch?
Can you get the same effect with the creative memories round corner punch?

I like making mine with the Basic Grey notch and die tool. I like scallops to be deeper and the corner rounder makes them pretty small.

I use the corner rounder to make a scallop edge. Just take the guide off. Never had a slit punch so I cannot comment on which I prefer.

I dont think so, I have a CM corner rounder, and it seems to be set up different, I dont think you can take the paper guides off the side, its seems to be attached, I have not looked at an SU corner rounder to know exactly what to do though.

It depends what look you prefer. I think the corner rounder is more versatile though, with the slit punch you must only use a strip of paper.

I usually use the corner rounder. The slit punch scallops are bigger and rounder.
Here's a card using the new corner rounder:

I ordered the slit punch from SU, so I am hoping that will work...
I tried the corner rounder and I had problems.
But many, many people are very successful with the corner rounder so it must just be me : )
