Default Copper shheet, fiskars plates & cuttlebug

This is for anyone who is cynical about the impressions you can get with a cuttlebug and Fiskars embossing Plates. This copper sheet worked beautifully! I didn't want to cover any of it up.

I think I bought a package of these plastic friskas 2 sided embossing plates - 6 to a package, right? I just also bought the cuttlebug but I must be doing something wrong as I didn't get it to work. Am I talking about something else. These plastic rectangles can be used with a hand embosser. How do I use them in the cuttlebug? Jane

Jane, you just have to play with the "sandwich" combination you use. At the top of this forum is a sticky about which combinations work with various machines and plates.

I bought some copper sheeting at LSS -- I got a piece that is 12" X 36" -- it is 38 gauge and it cost $5.95. It is in a tube rolled up and NOWHERE does it show a company name so that I can figure out the manufacturer.

Gorgeous Card!! How did you get the sandwich combination to work though? I just tried it and it seems to be too thick to go through the machine?? Thanks for any help!!
