I don't actually use/buy Copics, but recently bought 3 'original' for a "secret sister" swap. I found them online at Dick Blick's, regular price $6.49, on sale for $5.39. We have a Dick Blick's nearby, so I ran over after work to pick them up rather than pay for shipping. They rang up at $4.48 each! That really seemed like a good deal, so I wanted to share "just in case"...

I buy mine at oozak. If you register, they are $4.15 with free (FAST) shipping on $50. Carpe diem is usually a bit cheaper, but I have had a few bad experiences with them, and shipping took forever for me in WI.

I just ordered my second batch of 26 markers. The first time I ordered, I ordered on Tuesday and Wednesday they shipped and I had them in my hands on Saturday delivered by Fed-X. I don't look for this next order that I just did until Monday. Maybe I'll be surprised and get them on Saturday again.
I'm sorry you had a few bad experiences with them. May I ask what kind of problems did you have.

I'm sorry you had a few bad experiences with them. May I ask what kind of problems did you have.
I actually ordered from Carpe Diem because they had colors in stock that oozak was out of. Carpe Diem however did not have a few of the colors in stock either, and rather than let me know, they cancelled those colors from my order and shipped the rest. They do not put them on hold and send them when they come in with free shipping or anything.
This happened twice, even after calling the 2nd time to make sure my order was going to be complete.
I get orders from oozak in 2 days, but CD took over a week, one order took over 2 weeks!
So even if I get free shipping, I would rather spend the extra $2 in markers to not have to worry about IF I will have a problem again.

As for shipping, it only takes a couple of days, if in doubt call the rep, they'll tell you exactly. It took 3 weeks here to England that was pretty quick.
Um...would you believe they shipped today? It has only been about an hour since I ordered and I already have a tracking number. They will go out today...looks like I am going to be ordering a lot from them...lol

If you long in to oozak, they are even cheaper.
I order one day and get them the next--love their service and the fact that if something is not in stock you will be notified when it is.
Also, if you send an email--they will answer it lightning fast too.
Service and products are wonderful.
They also carry memento inks and will be getting Tim Holtz too.

OH ok....well I just checked on my order from Carpe Deim and I put my order in at about 1:15 PM, they have shipped already and everything was in stock. Guess I just got lucky both times have been really great experiences. I'll have them in my hot little hands by Saturday!! WOOOHOOO!!!

I did an on line order for Derwent Inktense individual pencils and a couple of pencil cases on Carpediem and when I went to finalize the order they were going to charge me $14 and change for shipping. They must be nuts. I deleted the order and got the same items from Dick Blick.
