I just went to the Carpe Diem Store to get a few more Sketch Markers with my Christmas money and they were all on sale fro $3.95 each. It looks like they are included in their Holiday Sale that will end at midnight on January 31st.
If you are ordering less than 24 markers, check into www.creativeplaystamps.com where they are $4.46, but free shipping on $50. The $12 shipping over less than 24 markers makes the price higher at Carpe Diem.
Oozak.com has them for $3.90 with free shipping over $50, but most are out of stock...you might get lucky though!

Good info, thanks. I've been spending some time reviewing Marianne's blog. I've had a sub from the beginning, but I'm reading the archives from the beginning. I'm learning so much about Copics (including how to pronounce it, LOL). I've learned that buying them is one thing, knowing how to best use them is another, LOL.
I ordered from oozak today as well to spend some xmas money and because the prices are going up on Copics in January! A few hours after placing my order I received confirmation that they are being shipped. Great customer service from oozak.com
I like Oozak and have ordered from them 3-4 times and have had a positive experience every time. ;)
I just now ordered from them, too and paid no shipping (over $50.00). I had considered ordering from Carpe Diem but their shipping rate on $57.00 purchase, I believe, was $14+. I had emailed them about that but got no response, so I was very happy to see your post today! Thanks!
Thanks for the info. I have tried ordering from Oozak several times in the past but every time I try to order a lot of the colors are out of stock so I finally gave up and just deleted them from my Bookmarks. :(
I have ordered twice from Oozak and have been very happy - however I do hear what everyone is saying about them being out of stock on some colors - it is frustrating. But their customer service is awesome and you can't beat the price ---

ok oozak is out of stock... so I ordered from carpe diem; I've heard so much about these markers, and want to try them ... so I got the 36 pack, hope they are as good as you all say they are!
don't forget about copicmarkers.com... Timothy is VERY nice, it is just he and his fiance. I ordered a 72 custom set for Christmas, and they got here very fast (free shipping, but I don't know how low you can go and still get it free). They were 4.16 each, but only 2 were out of stock, unlike Oozak.com.
That seems to be their regular price. I have placed a few orders in the past 9 months and that is the price. i will be ordering the final 124 colors i want next week. WOOOOO HOOOOOO!
Just wanted to clear up that the sale at Carpe Diem goes to January 1, 2009 and not the 31st as was stated earlier. So, midnight on December 31 is the end of the 2008 prices/sale.
I ordered the last few colors I wanted that I can never get at oozaks because they are out of stock! Thanks for the heads up. They were a bit more with shipping, but still cheaper then they will be when prices go up next month at oozaks and everwhere else!
If I use sketch copics but they were out of the color I wanted so I ordered them in ciao, am I getting the same color. In other words, do the numbers match up for sketch or ciao?

When I tried to select the purchase button from copicmarkers.com, it just went to a site with an address of oregon, so I clicked on that and nothing! Any suggestions?

Did you receive an answer to this question? If not, it is "yes." All of the numbers correspond across marker-type in the Copic brand.

Did you put the S at the end? If you don't, you get the Copic site (from the manufacturer). The one with the s at the end is in New York state. HTH!
Any suggestions on what colors to start with for a novice? I've looked at the sets and I'm afraid that I may not use. I have 08 IC copics but it never seems like enough colors to try them that much
Is it better to buy set 36A/B/C/or D or 72 sets or is it better to customize? How do you know which ones to pick? I really want to get a good deal, but some seems like they have so many grays

Reason: adding questions
Melissa, I'm also ready to venture into the Copic realm and it was suggested I buy the markers separately. I haven't sit down and figured which colors to get, though, or if they should be Sketch or some other type.
I would like to try some of the copic markers, but from everything I've heard, I'm a little intimidated. I'm an avid SU buyer with all the markers, inks, papers, etc. matching. I don't know what to buy that would match my SU. Any suggestions?
Here is the link to a thread that has the list of matching SU! colors for Copics. I would just get 1 or 2 and try it first because there is a learning curve. You should also check out the Copic Chatter thread. HTH

FYI for those thinking about purchasing:
Oozak has raised their prices to $4.25 per sketch marker with free shipping for a purchase of $50. Carpe Diem's prices are still $3.95, but you have to pay shipping. With the difference in price, you really aren't paying that much more. Don't know if Carpe Diem will raise theirs or not. Carpe Diem always has them in and I went today to buy from oozak and they had just received an order and still didn't have everything I wanted so I purchased from Carpe Diem.

These are still the prices for these markers. I was going to order this weekend but the shipping is to high.
I did check OOZAK and I will be ordering from them instead.
Thank you EVERYONE for this valuable info!
I just completed my Caio collection with my third order from OOZAK. I love their customer service and each time the box was packed and shipped out within three hours. I adore these markers and I have really gotten good results just from reading the threads here and Marianne's blog. If you are new, like me, don't be afraid. They are FANTASTIC.
I need help with choosing a pink marker. I have a Pale Pink (RV10) Ciao and a Begonia Pink (RV14) Sketch marker. I am looking for a pink somewhere in the middle, that I could blend with at least one of these markers. Would the RV13 Ciao Tender Pink be a good choice?

Thanks so much for sharing that info. I may challenge myself and buy a few to try.
Does anyone know the shipping rates to Australia for 10 or more copic markers, for Ooozak.com?
Or does anyone have their email? I couldn't find one.
Thanks xx
