Seriously, though, I do like having the system. I went with the compressor to begin with, because I didn't want to be tempted to skimp on using air cans to make the dang things last. I have the compressor on a cart near my feet and can easily hit the switch to operate it. The compressor, heat gun, and table lights are all plugged into the same power strip, which gets turned off whenever I finish stamping...little chance of a mishap. I just wish I would come up with more opportunities to use it.
I have another question for those who have been airbrushing for awhile. I would think that with some images you could airbrush the sky before stamping the image and bothering with masking. The sky might be so pale, while something like a dark leafy tree stamped and colored over it would look pretty much the same regardless of the pale blue beneath it. (Since most of my projects are onesies, I am not a great fan of cutting out masks.)
