My Mikes has a whole new wall of new MS punches. Several of them are edge punches. Some are pretty neat but I was looking for the fern punch. I ended up finding it at Walmart and I bought the last one they had.
I got an EK Success Snowflake border punch about two weeks ago at Michael's.. the guy working there was hanging them on the peg.. I was like.. I would like one of those. I did make a card with it that day.
So do the Christmas punches work better than the Halloween punches? I only ask because I had to return the Halloween punches I bought -- they just wouldn't punch through cardstock OR paper.

I really want some of those adorable border punches, but the one MS border punch that I bought does not work on cardstock at all. It only works on decorative paper or something that thin. Very disappointing. I so wanted the dripping goo punch.:(
I went to Michael's last night and tried two of the border punches and neither would work through anything but thin paper. Maybe it is where I'm looking at them. Maybe the one's at Michaels aren't as good. I thought of buying one and trying to sharpening it, but wasn't sure I wanted to invest in that.
I only have two MS punches. The spiky circle (don't know it's actual name) and the zig zag embossing punch. I was hestitant to buy them because I've heard they don't cut through SU cs -which is pretty much all I use - but they both work just fine for me.

Maybe you got a bad punch...my drippy goo and the others that I bought worked fine on my cardstock and I use mostly Bazzill which is pretty thick. You should have sold it on Ebay instead of taking it back...they are averaging about $50 a piece now
I too wanted the drippy goo punch, but our Michael's was sold out of them. I got the MS doily lace border punch from Walmart but haven't tried it on cardstock yet.
I got some Fiskars border punches since they were on sale at Michael's this week and was disappointed when they didn't punch through 2 sheets of carstock; knowing now that they are only expected to go through one makes me feel better. I thought I was just weak.
My Michael's actually had very few Christmas......so many new punches they had to move them to a new aisle...I saw baby/kid themed, vehicles, sea life, flowers, leaves, animals, bugs, a picket fence edge, stars edge, train edge, checkerboard edge, lattice edge, scallop dot edge, embossed snowflake edge....that's all I can remember right now.
I have tried 3 different MS doily lace punches from Michael's and Walmart and none will cut cardstock...only thin paper. All my other MS punches work fine on CS. I just learned today that I'm one of the lucky one to have the MS goo punch. Who knew?? I bought mine at Michael's about a month ago.
i have the fern punch and the zig zag border and they work fine on SU CS for me!

I did notice that the branch punch was difficult to punch on SU! cardstock, but it DID punch. I am guessing that the fine lines of the punch on thick cardstock is harder to punch. I don't think I'd try it on Papertrey cardstock.
Hello there, I just wanted you to know that they are on ebay and you can usually get great offers. I have made out finding items that are hard to find. Good luck!
I just got the doily lace punch on Friday. It was 30% off, plus the cashier took my AC Moore 55% off coupon on top of that. I got it for about $4.75. It works fine on SU cardstock.
I just bought the star border punch at Michaels and it works fine. At first it was a little hard to punch with but after 3 times it was easier to punch with. I bought it instead of the snowflake punch to use as both snow & stars. I also bought the fern and butterfly small punches in Martha Stewart and love them also.

I bought the embossed snoflake edge punch, and its going back tomorrow.
It wont emboss, and it will not cut all the way :(
I kept looking at it wondering why it looked so different from what was
on the punch itself, and its because it will NOT emboss the snowflake.
I wish it worked, I was excited about it
I got several of the new punches a few days ago. I have not had any problems so far. I've used several types of cardstock but no SU. I posted a few cards.
here's something weird on the martha stewart website it doesnt list the "newest" punches that are circulating on ebay: the apple, seahorse, like a dozen others. I dont get it, I would think her personal website would be the most up to date.
I, too, am returning the embossed snowflake border. The embossing doesn't look anything like the snowflake pictured on the punch.
I had the same results with the snowflake border punch. It did not come out anything like the photo. I have several other MS border punches and they are all fantastic, just disappointed with this one. Michaels had so many new ones in stock. I picked up the cupcake, bow, stars border & double scallop border punches @ 30% off last week. They all worked wonderful!
