Default Coloring Chipboard Help

Looking for feedback on how you color chipboard? Do you use the stamp pad? Markers? When I tried it with my stamp pads, it didn't turn out like I see on this sight... Thanks for your help!!!

I have used a brayer inked with an inkpad. Craft ink leaves a darker, richer color, but I've also had success with classic pads.
I colored an On board Accent piece with classic ink and a brayer and it worked fine, however when I tried to do the same thing with my coasters it didn't turn out as well.

I've used dye ink with a sponge. I just sponged it on heavily so there weren't little sponge marks.

I usually use a sponge and the craft/dye ink and then I seal it with clear embossing powder. Makes it nice and shiny that way.

You can also sponge or pain on acrylic paint. I like using the smal cat eye ink pads because you can get into the crevices good!

I've also used Pearl Ex powders with Future Floor Wax. Just paint it on! Also, if you heat it with a heat gun right after you paint it, it roughs up the texture a bit.

What a timely question as I just finished working with some Bazzill Chipboard discs. Painted them with the Making Memories acrylic paint and they dried instantly and covered well. I have used the SU markers broad brush end of course to paint the edges of the same type discs or other die cut shapes when I've covered the fronts and backs with papers. HTH
