Smile colorbox chalks...what do you do with them??

Was wondering if anyone out there has used these colorbox chalks? what would I do with them???

They are in a stack of about 6 and are kinda oval shaped...lol, would i just use them as I would an ink pad?

thanks, Caroline

I use them like a regular ink pad. It gives a dull chalky softer look as opposed to a regular ink pad being more vibrant.

I love using them with clear stamps.

I also love to use them to ink the edges of the paper/card!

I like using them with clear stamps also. Very good coverage. It does take longer to dry than dye ink. I have never had to "seal" the image - but I don't think they would hold up if you are coloring with watercolers. If you are coloring with a dry media like colored pencils, they are fine. However I have never used them if I am going to use the Gamsol/colored pencil coloring. For that I use Memento dye inks, and for watercoloring Stazon is the way to go.

I use these. I have had them for awhile, used them a lot when I scrapbooked, to ink the edge of the papers, and that is what I use them for when card making also. I just posted a baby boy card in my gallery with green chalk ink if you care to look.
