Okay, I just LOVED the new designs from Crafty Secrets Vintage Collection but I have had mixed results with different brands of clear stamps. Some are so 'plastic' that the ink just beads up on the stamp producing terrible results. Has anyone purchased stamps from Crafty Secrets or can you post WHICH clear stamps you like?
I'm just now venturing out into clear stamps. JulieHRR had a great post talking about the different types of clear and the pro's & cons of each. I'll see if I can find it.
I was drawn to your post because I LOVE crafty secrets and have bought alot of their line. Check out Crafty Secrets member company info..
I don't have any of those stamps, but I have a lot of different clear stamps and found that ink makes a big difference. My first choices are either chalk inks or Palette inks, also great results with Brilliance inks. The SU dye inks don't work very well on many of the clear stamps that I have.

I have clear stamps and I love them ! Someone once said to me that the paper makes all the difference as well. They said you get better results from using a high-quality cardstock like SU then you do a lower quality cardstock.
My favourite set from Clear Art Stamps is the set called "Kewpies". It is such a cute set !
The biggest reason I buy (and sell) SU is because I really love their designs. I sometimes wish they would go clear, it's much easier to position a stamp.

I love all stamps - regardless of their color, or rubber! heehee...
I have found that dye ink doesn't work the best with clear stamps - but chalk inks by Colorbox or Versamagic or SU's craft inks work great! I also agree with the paper choice - although I'm biased, because I primary use SU's whisper white or very vanilla along with all their colors.
