I am so tempted to get the circle scissor plus from the new SU catty--but I don't want it until I get some reviews. My demo hasn't had a stampin day in over a year and doesn't have any of the new toys yet, either, so she is useless in this case (I still love her) So has anyone tried it? If so , what did you think?
Missy....I had one that I had purchased in AC Moore. Same thing as Stampin' Up is selling. Understand that you do need to purchase a glass cuttng mat to use it. It certainly will not work well on a self healing mat (it will drag too much).
Personally, I didn't care for it and gave it to someone. Not sure if they use it either. It is a large item that I also found difficult to store.
I prefer the Coluzzle system that can be purchased in all kinds of shapes and sizes of circles, squares, ovals, etc. Stampin' Up only sells 2 of the Coluzzle templates. Check out the internet for many others.
I had the Circle Scissor and REALLY didn't like it!! So hard to see what you're cutting and kind of awkward. I took mine back to M's and got Martha Stewart's circle cutter and LOVE it!! Small, portable and easy to use. You still have to use a glass mat and some repositionable glue but it's one of my favorite tools. Oh, and the spare blades store in the handle of the cutting tool. SWEET!! One less thing I have to try to find on my craft table.1
Not sure if this helps or hinders, being that I don't have one nor have I ever used one, but I have watched 3 videos on it, and they seemed to like it pretty well, and looked easy to use. I will post the links here...
I have the MM circle cutter, with self healing mat, and didn't feel like I "needed" another circle cutter...however if I had seen this first, I probably would've bought it. Sorry this isn't much help.
I used the SU! Circle Cutter the other day and I LOVED IT!!! Very easy to use, made little circles, bigger circles and rings! On my next order for sure.

Along with most of the others who have replied to you I too did not really like this product. I find it difficult to use. I prefer the Creative Memories Circle Cutter, however the problem with this item is that I cannot find any replacement blades. Also, both of these can only cut circles up to about 8" - 9". I have also tried the Curvy Cutter, but the size options are pretty limited. Also, all of these cutters are limited in size to about 8 - 9" circles (I'm a scrapbooker also so needed something up to 12"). Just a couple of weeks ago I purchased EK CutterBee 1-2-3D Paper Crafting System. I like this one the best so far and it is the only one to cut 12" circles. Lisa
