Default Be careful when you order cuttlebug...

embossing folders from Joann.com. I placed an order for the stylized flowers online because they are on sale with free shipping on orders over $10 and what I got was the divine swirl. When you click on divine swirl online you get a picture of the stylized flowers. I didn't know what the names were and because they are mixed up, they sent me the wrong thing. Now I have to wait for their customer service people to email me back and tell me how to exchange this mess. Just wanted to spare someone else from this trouble.

Sorry that happened to you.

Of all the places I have ordered online, Joann has got to be the worst at making mistakes.

I recently ordered a scallop punch from them. I received the wrong punch, and in the package were two very expensive Ott lightbulbs that I did not order at all!

This happened to me too. I thought I ordered the flowers embossing folder and instead received the "divine swirl". Thought I had just made a mistake. Was disappointed because I was really looking forward to using the flowers.

That happened to me months ago. You'd think they would have fixed that glitch by now. The phone rep immediately knew why I was calling, so it was a very common problem. She said keep Divine Swirls and they would send Stylized Flowers when it came back in stock.... well it never did! Or at least they never sent it to me. I guess I should have pursued it, but got busy and forgot about it after a couple of weeks. I ended up getting it somewhere else.

Hope you have a better outcome. Stay after them!!! I must say that other than this, I have placed several orders with Joann's and had excellent service.

WOW, this is good information. I do have a JoAnns close by, but they have had some good online deals, but this makes me maybe think twice about ordering. Espically if when you call, they already know what you're calling about. Seems like they would want to fix this problem.

Default Wrong picture

This happened to me and they did not have the one I wanted. I was happy because they credited me back and told me to keep the wrong folder. I told them the pictures were wrong and they were very nice to me.

Yikes! Wish I had read this thread first. I just placed an order for 2 folders (not divine swirls, have it already, but I must say it's my favorite). Hope I get the right thing.

LOL! I had the reverse happen to me in December... I was desperate for divine swirls, and what did Joann send? Stylized flowers. I was so bummed out. But, of course, I started seeing gorgeous cards using the flowers, so I decided to keep it.

Good luck getting it straightened out...

UPDATE: After reading florida_scrapper's post, it jogged my memory that Joann's did credit my account for the $5 or so for the Stylized Flowers folder that they were unable to send me after a couple of weeks. It was back in the winter (November-ish???) and I hadn't thought about it for a long time, but I wanted to set the record straight now that my memory has been reinitialized by this thread. Overall, I've had positive experiences ordering from them.

Haha, I did the same thing. I only ordered two folders, I dont even own a cuttlebug. I guess I will be happy with the swirl one too. I am gonna try the rolling pin method. I guess I can always buy a cuttlebug if it doesnt work. I couldnt pass up a sale with free shipping.

Yeah, what's up with that website. I was going to order last night, but none of the pics were matching up, and I was afraid what I'd get. I have D'vine Swirl but wanted a flower one, but it was all mixed up. I also wanted the bday one but that was coming up weird, too.
