Default card jackets--hard to find

Hello everyone,

I know! Card jackets!!!! We have discussed them many times but I'm still not finding what I want. I'm looking for a jacket that covers the entire card. I also want to be able to open the card and read the inside without getting it dirty. They have them for store cards but I can't locate them online in bulk. They are a more clear cellophane type material rather than a soft plastic-type sleeve. Not like a baggie. You slip the card in the sleeve and close the card. Any hints, suggestions???

The reason I want these is because my daughter is planning on selling her cards at an annual plant sale that we sponser every Mother's day weekend. I don't want people picking up dirty plants and then remembering they need a card and get the cards dirty. She uses a A-7 size card. I've seen the small tabs that cover the inside by a few inches but I want the entire card covered.

It's too late for this year as I'm on my way out the door to start selling but I want to get them for next year. Thanks for any help you can give me. Lois

Yes, I found and purchased some from http://www.clearenvelopesambershaw.com. I'm not affiliated with her nor do I know here; I'm just a very happy customer who is paying it forward. She gives free shipping and also donates proceeds to the troops.

Ok, so what size do I need for my reg. size cards? I think the envelopes I use are 43/8 by 53/4. I'm confused on the size I need. Thanks! Karen

I suppose if you are desperate, you could use two regular 'clear envelopes' with the tacky strip and tack them together to create two facing pockets...

I use one and include a tag on the back side that describes how the card is decorated on the inside, what the words say, etc.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I appreciate your help. I will be checking out the sites and report back to you. I just got in from our plant sale and am going right to bed--have to be up early tomorrow. It's the last day of the sale and we are really busy. Thanks again. Lois

I also am looking for a "hard to find" item related to the card jacket. I would like to display cards and/or card front samples in binder. Does anyone know a source for acrylic or plastic of some kind transparent sheets that would hold standard card fronts in pockets for display in a binder. I followed all the links listed above and did not see what I was looking for. I apologize in advance if this was not the appropriate thread to ask my question...Please, forgive I am a newbie!

Here is the web site for ordering the card sleeve protectors that fit in a binder.

http://www.centuryphoto.com/servlet/...P100&RAND=4154

Scroll down until you see the Polaroid pages. Those are the ones you want.

As many are telling you, Clear Bags.com is an excellent comapny. The are very helpful when you call and very fast with shipping. I've been ordering from them for quite a while and have never been disappointed in the product or the service.

I use Century Plastic products in various sizes to accommodate the different sizes of cards I make and keep them all in binders.
