Default Butterfly embossing folder

There are times when I find myself in a rather out-of-the-ordinary place where I locate something I cannot otherwise find.

I find myself very fortunate to live in an area that has some unique crafting supply shops. Of course, there is one in particular that I miss something dreadful, but by enlarge there are still a number left.

But even with those, I know I would have not found these gems. Darice makes a number of lovely embossing folders. But this one that I chose left all the rest in the stampers dust. My mom and my second youngest sister both love the color red. I was rather sad when I didn't see Washi Accents at this year's Heirloom. Thankfully, Tessler Stamps did have a few sheets available.

And I'm very thankful I had a passionate partner in stamping, Carla (aka Covington Crafter). We had a lot of fun looking through each both and afterwards going to Yard Birds and getting dinner.

I have that same butterfly folder and agree with you - it's so lovely!

I plan to use it with plain white cardstock to make personalized note card sets for Christmas gifts.

Here is last year's version of personalized note cards. I used a Cuttlebug Owl folder and did them in light gray and lined the envelopes with a nice gray and white pattern. Everyone who got them loved them.

Very nice card. Did you happen to take a picture of the envelope?

Sorry, I didn't take pics of the liner. It's really easy to make liners to match any envelope. Here is a good tutorial:

I made a template from card stock so I didn't have to trace the actual envelope each time I made a liner.
