Question Build-A-Brad

I have been thinking about ordering the Build-a-Brad. For any of you who have tried these--do you like them? Are they easy to use? TIA

Love them! My SU! Demo uses them frequently on our stamp club projects, so I have used them a fair amount. They are high quality and add the perfect "touch" to any card/scrapbook page. If you do order them, make sure you have a 1/2" circle punch as well - since that is the size cardstock you need for the brads. Have fun with them!!

I'm on the other side of the spectrum... I don't care for them.

You know, I bought 3 sets to make bracelets for my dd to give as a going-away gift to all her friends before we move. They were OK to use, but I'm not sure if I really like them. I have enough extras that I can play with them, after we move of course. But I don't know about them yet!

I use them occasionally with Little Flowers, however, I do not use the brad part....just don't like it. I only use the clear top. Guess I am weird!

I love them! Had I not tried them first, I probably wouldn't have ordered them. But once I had the chance to use them at a class, they were on my next order.

i like the concept, but my little plastic "domes" seem to slide around, and not stay in place, which was a disappointment, cuz they weren't cheap!

I like the concept but think they could be made better. The clear dome part just doesn't sit well, moves too much. They are very cool but I think they need to get a little tweek.

When I made the bracelets for my dd, I used Crystal Effects to glue the paper and the clear dot. I tried just using the clear dot by itself, but couldn't get a strong enough bond. We used them at a stamp camp in March and my demo had us use a glue dot to adhere them. I know they say they are self-adhesive, but I prefer to use Crystal Effects as a little extra insurance!

Thumbs up

Im a SU Demo in Florida and I love the Build-A-Brad,
Think of it this way, You are working on a page or a card
and you dont have that perfect brad to match. Its simple
make your own use a small stamp and then punch it out or
simply punch out a design that match the paper you are using.
Give it a try, You might really like it/
