Default Bought Asst Copics - Need Help with Addtl Colors

Hey everyone... I purchased a lot of used Copics. I read a ton of threads on the best colors to buy to start out with, and how to choose within the color families for the best blending. My first try ... eh :( I had V06 so I purchased V01 and V09. The colors don't look like they go together :( V06 looks very pinkish to me, and V09 is definitely purple.

So, if anyone can give me a hand before I order more, I sure would appreciate it. The colors on my monitor might not be true, because what I see on the paper in front of me, doesn't look like the color on the website. (I printed out the fill-in chart once I got my Gina K order with the 120lb stock)

I have:

R29, and from what I see, many like R22, R24

YG05 and YG07 what should be the third?

G07

E07

Y13

YR04

C6 - with the grays, is it best to go 2 or 3 shades between? they look pretty close.

Thanks so much! Lisa

You are right... the V in the 0X family are a little strange to me too... But I have more problems with V04 than V06. It just has a little too much hot pink in it.

Here is what I would do if I were starting again:

R29 - R22, R24

YG07, 05 - YG03

G07 - G05 and G02... However, I would probably order G21, 24, 28 before I ordered more of the Ox family.

E07 - Probably E04 and E08... but I don't use these a lot, so I am not sure. I tend to use the E31, 33, 35, 37 family the most.

Y13 - Y11 and Y15

YR04 - I actually don't have this one, but I do have YR02 and YR07, so those would be good for blending. I have blended YR02 with YR07.

C6 - With the Grays, I have every other one and I think that is a great way to go. (with the Cools I have C1, 3, 5, 7, 9 with the Warms I have 2, 4, 6,

Not sure if I helped
