Default Blender Pens....

I am using various mediums to color in my images. I tried using SU blender pens but I find they are a bit too wet and or sometimes the point falls into the pen?

What other brand is out there that works better please?

thanks.......

I've never had the tip fall into my pen before. I wonder if you are pressing too hard? You really should be quite light to the touch, in my experience anyway. I tried one brand of blender pen that I bought at Michaels but it was garbage. I cant remember the brand. So I went back to the SU ones and havent regretted it. Sorry, that probably doesnt help you much.

I like the prismacolor blenders in both pencil and marker, the marker is mostly for highlighting the color already set down. It takes some practice depending on the medium you choose, but I love the results.

Copic has a good blender with their markers, as well..I only use it with their products though.

If you want something for water based markers, watercolor pencils and watercoloring with the dye stamp pads, then Dove makes a blender and also Marvy.

I have used Tombow and Dove....The marvy one that I bought seemed rather dry BUT I bought it at a chain store so it is hard telling how long it had been on the shelf.
