Default Bitty Bolds

I have a stamp set that is labeled Bitty Bolds "1998 Stampin' Up", but I can't find it in any of the old catalogs. I keep all my stamp sets in Evernote along with a picture from the catalog. Can anyone help me figure out where to find the Bitty Bolds stamp set? This is driving me crazy! (My husband used to tell me that it wasn't a drive, just a short putt.") Thanks for your help.

You can find pdfs of catalogues going back to 1996 here:

Unfortunately he doesn't seem to have the year you want but it still a useful sight

You can determine which catalog it first came out in by the copyright date. It says 1998 so that is the start date for the catalog where the set was released. I have to assume that the catalogs straddled years like they did in 1999-2000, so it would be a 1998-1999 catalog where that set was released.

Edited to add: When I can't find the catalog that has a set in it, I make use of a picture of the actual stamps taken from an ebay sales ad or similar. When Stampin Style gets the catalog then I can replace that with a catalog picture.

Thanks. I actually use this site but couldn't find a catalog that might contain this set. I was hoping it might be in another catty. Thanks anyway.

It may be what SU called incentive stamps that Demonstrators could purchase as door prizes and such. It wouldn't show up in any catalog it could only be purchased if you were a demonstrator as a marketing tool. Hope that helps.

I believe the color of the rubber is indicative too. If it's not red, I think it came as a "special" (incentive, occasion) set.
