I ordered my birthday present today from Bonnie's Best this afternoon! (My birthday isn't till next month, he he!)and get this - it shipped today!!!
With the Bind-It-All, I ordered 1/2" wires in white and 3/8" in black. They were out of the 1/2" in white so I got a call asking if I would like to switch and get the 3/8" in white and the 1/2" in black so I don't have to wait for 1/2" whites to come in.
Now that's customer service!!! (I, of course, said "yes!!")
Ok, I ordered mine from zutter.com or whatever their site is. It's the same price there as everywhere though. I ordered some extra zutter coils and a few of the non-zutter ones ( I wanted to try these in a small amt to compare before I purchased any bulk ones). I'll let you know my thoughts on that later when I get them. But I did make a book that first day using 7/8 coil (I needed smaller, but that was the smallest I had ordered!). It's here http://emilygiovanni.com/?p=405.
Thank you so much for all sharing your info - I'm learning lots about what I want to do and where to get it!
So I was thinking to get a bulk order of the smaller coils so I can have them on had to make stuff for the kids. My kids LOVE making books. And the ones at Bonnies are so cheap! Any thoughts on what size would be good for smaller kid things?
Mine came today too! What are the red tickets that are included in the package from Bonnie's for? I'm puzzled about that. The DVD was a bit of a hoot, though!
I didn't get mine from Bonnies, I got it from Joy & Daisy at Eclectic Paperie. Sorry, no red tickets here! I'm trying to watch the DVD but am being FORCED to watch CARS instead for the millionth time...

You poor thing! Ours was Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (though we have the old version, not the new one with (gag) Johnny Dipp.) I watched the DVD for the BIA while the kids were at school. There's not much to it, though.
Ooo . . . I just got my BIA in the mail and haven't tried it out yet. Wondered the same about the tix. Gonna have to check out the DVD. Can we maybe be sure to put BIA in gallery posts so we can eventually search on it?
Bonnie told me the tickets are just for decoration. I asked her when I got my pkg. if the tickets were for a drawing and she said no! lol Just to use on the front of things.
Happy binding ;)
I had tried to make a color matching book a while back of SU! cardstock color (how far...well, I still had Marvellous Magenta, Positively Pink, Mint Melody et al in the cardstock swatches) using the Rollabind stuff that I have and it just didn't work out. I had thrown it aside in disgust...I had used a half sheet of each color plus neutrals to make it and it just seemed like such a big waste!
So today I cut off the part that had the Rollabind punches, cut out new swatches using the newer colors and repunched using my BIA. Bonnie had sent some 7/8" wire samples and I used one of those to bind it.
I think I need a bigger coil, maybe the 1" or 1 1/4", because the pages don't turn too easily and the coil is not round after crimping, but so far it works a ton better than it did with the rollabinder! I may have to swap some wires with someone who does have the 1 1/4" so I can try a different size.
Jan, if the wire isn't rounded, try rolling the squish bar (like my technical term?) back just a bit. In fact, roll it back about half a turn. When I started out, I was squeezing my wires too tight. Now I have to remind myself to back off! LOL

Heehee! Love the comments about the video! My DH and I were laughing so hard my DD had to tell us to be quiet...we were disturbing her sleep! I agree, the one on Creating Keepsakes is much more informative! Thanks for the giggles, ladies!
"And I'm so inspired by that random little black book with the strange pages you have there Jan. That purse would make a fabulous gift."
It would go PERFECTLY with that outfit of yours, Shannan, you know, the one with the thigh high black lace up boots with the spike heels! It would be the PERFECT finishing touch! You'd be STUNNING!
 ok ok, I'll watch it.....I'll report back when I am sufficiently enlightened!;)
Emily, you won't regret the DVD time. I can't believe it's not on You Tube - it's BAD. It's like a train wreck - you CANNOT look away, no matter how badly you want to.
That confetti line is just stuck in my head and won't come out, LOL.
The two presenters are like deer in the headlights...they can't stop looking at the camera, even though they'd come off so much more naturally if they just talked to each other instead of the camera.
I stopped in at my local Lasting Memories scrapbook store today and was totally excited to find that they carry the BIA and supplies. I had almost ordered online but held off to think about it. Well today I had a 20% coupon in my pocket and figured it was a sign. I'm so excited to get started. Watched the video during lunch. No real info but what a hoot! Well, I'm off to bind :-)
Mine took a week to ship to Idaho, but I received my shipping notice within 24 hours. Bonnie may be out of town at a trade show. They travel a bunch. Try calling her! I think her phone number is on her website somewhere.
