I have a Hobby Lobby and Michaels in my town, but I'm in need of a source for some different embellishments. (Both stores have the same styles of Primas, basic ribbon - mostly 3/8 inch grosgrain, etc.)
I'd love to get some different styles of ribbon and different sorts of embellishments (different styles of Primas), just *different* embellishments. (I feel I always use the same kinds of things all the time.)
Does anyone have a good one-stop-shopping kind of site? I need to keep my shipping costs down, so I'd prefer to order from just one place.
For flowers, have you thought of making your own? There are lots of easy tutorials around for making flowers using any number of flower punches or dies. Here is a cute flower that's easy to make using just a scallop punch. scroll down a bit to see the flower:
That is a very nice site ( A cherry on top). I also like A million Memories. If you like vintage you might try artchix studios and Vintage Street (I hope I have that right).
Just a tip: if you buy ribbon on line and it comes on a plain white spool with no company name, you might want to write which on line store you bought the ribbon. I have some favorite ribbon with just the name of the color and I can't remember where I bought it (I've bought from several). I know I can "simply" go to the sites and try to locate the color but it's more work for me.
My favorite online store is franticstamper.com. She has just about everything, plus lots of things you never knew you needed. Great customer service too. I've been buying online from Fran for several years.
There are embellishments everywhere so its hard to say which is a favorite. Lots of times when you buy paper there are coordinating embellishments on that site as well. I get a lot of mine just from Joann's when I shop there. Lots of times I just make my own; like stamp an image doctor it up a lot, cut it out, and jazz it up some more. I have found cool stuff from bead stores that sell everything to make jewelry. The main thing I have to keep in mind is keeping it flat and "mailable."

For embellies I love Paper Wishes and Oriental Trading. For eyelets I always order from Eyelet Outlet as their prices are outstanding and their shipping very reasonable, plus I really like their eyelets!
