Does anyone have a glue stick brand that they are crazy about? I need it to make "senendipity" cards. These are collages that use small scraps of paper glued onto a large piece of cardstock to be cut into smaller squares. Normally, I would never use glue sticks but I think a runny type glue would be too messy. I have heard Tombow is great but I haven't been able to find it at my Michael's or Joann's.
I personally love my SU gluesticks. I use all different adhesives for different reasons, but when I am sticking paper to paper I always use my SU gluestick. It is a nice wide base.
UHU is the best hands down! It has a low moisture content so it doesn't make your paper warp or buckle and it's really strong, most craft and office stores carry it and it's not expensive.
I think a card made with a glue stick needs to be left set arond for a few months to see if it really continues to adhere, I've used some to go to my card stash and found out the glue never held up. I usually use glue when I'm gicing the card out soon. Carolyn
