Question Bent Gemini Mini Plastic folders

I have never started a thread here, so hope I'm not breaking any rules! I have the new Gemini Mini manual die cutting machine, and it takes plastic folders to that are attached on one end. After only 7 or 8 passes through the machine, it has bent so horribly (and I did alternate top and bottom when using it), that it's almost impossible to get through the machine now. The plastic folder is horribly warped. I purchased more folders, but at this rate, I'll be going through them once a week. Has anyone found a solution for "unwarping" them? I have searched the internet and all the forums here at Splitcoast Stampers and couldn't find anything on it. I did see a video with hot water, but that's not working on these. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them. I'm sorry I bought it now...:(

What if you try the 'hot water' technique then lay them on a table and place some books or something heavy on them and leave it for a while. That might flatten them a little....maybe????

If you have a full-size die-cutting machine (Big Shot or similar), you could do the hot water, then put them between full-size plates and run them through the machine to see if they flatten. Or maybe you could try covering them with a silicone sheet and pressing them with an iron? No clue, really, but thought I'd throw out a couple of possibilities, lol.

Why not write/call Crafter's Companion customer service in California to ask them what to do? I have the electric Gemini and Gemini Jr., so I don't have any personal experience with your problem. Sorry, and good luck. Barbie
