Basket & Blooms from Stampin up?

:(Hi I recently ordered the basket & blooms (which I think is super cute!) but I'm having trouble keeping it together. I've tried sticky strip, tombow, double sided tape and atg gun. I don't know what else to do. Any Suggestions to what can be happening? I know I'm assembling them right because I followed chic'n scratch's tutorial which is great! (I LOVE her blog)..

Thanks

The die has parts that are perforated (I don't understand why they did that). Be careful not to fold on that perforation or it will fall apart. I put tape with an extra piece of cardstock over the perforation to give more support. You also have to be certain that EVERY tab on the bottom has adhesive on it and adhere it to the side of basket firmly. Use a bone folder tool (not a finger nail...finger nails leave a mark and are not a good tool to use).

I use Scor-Tape or ATG to hold it together. I also only use non-Stampin' Up cardstock for the basket. They are not meant to hold too much weight.

I know a lot of people really loved this die but I was just the opposite and returned mine. The little baskets are cute but I think I am basket challenged...lol
blessings.

I have been using Sticky Strip and have not had any issues. I still have a few I made as samples last year when the die was first introduced by SU and they are still holding together strong.
