Default Attn Marylanders...and any ribbon lover who doesn't mind the drive...

So on the way to pick my husband up from the airport the other day, I decided to treat myself to a stop at the Offray Ribbon Factory in Hagerstown. This was the first time I had been there, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Check this out!!!! I got all this ribbon for under $12.00!!!!! TWELVE DOLLARS!!! Those HUGE Walmart size bags or ribbon were only $1.00 each!! Those quart size grab bags of ribbon were on $.35 each!! 35 CENTS!!!!! I splurged a little bit on the spools. They cost anywhere from $.10 to $.50 each. Possibly my most favorite bargain buy (not my favorite color...but the price was UNBELIEVABLE!!) was this box of 24 spools of sheer gold for $.50. 50 CENTS!!

It's totally worth the stop in there. They are closed on Mondays. Open Tuesday - Friday (possibly Saturday...but I'm not sure) at 9:00. Not sure of closing time.

Address:

857 Willow Cir.
Hagerstown, MD , 21740

Phone: 301-739-6314

There are a couple other pictures on my blog - feel free to look. www.rinkerramblings.blogspot.com

I was just there last week. I spent just over $6. I got a few spools of ribbon, several of the 35 cent grab bags, some kegs of curling ribbon and some gift bags. I left with a bag that would not close it was so full. It was a lot of fun! Their stock changes, so you never know just what you may find! And since my son is going to be attending West Virginia Univ in the fall, I have to go near there whenever we visit/drop him off/pick him up (it's just a couple of miles off the highway).

You are so lucky! I just have the Jelly Belly and Budweiser factories near me. I would much rather have all that pretty ribbon over beer and jelly beans.

I live about 20 minutes away from the ribbon store and I love it! Great place to go with a friend too. I have bought a ton and have bee sharing it on my blog so it gives me an excuse to do more shopping!

Neat! My mom and sister live in Hagerstown and I'm moving to Northern Virginia in the next 3 months. Will have to keep this in mind. I LOVE ribbon (just need to learn to use it a bit more and stop hoarding it.)
