Just wanted to know if any of you have tried the Spellbinder Nestabilities Card Creator and if so please give your opinions.
I'm debating on getting it due to the fact that I'm not to good on the measurement thing. I tend to dabble between A2 and 5x7 cards (but it takes forever since I'm doing trial and error on the measurements). So for those of you that have it do you find it useful or not so much? and do you really need to buy both A & B die or just the A-2 size.
Thank you all in advance

I can't comment on that particular product but I can comment on being measurement-challenged and loving the rectangle dies that I have that cut an exact size A2 card front. Saves me so much time and aggravation! If you like to mat your card fronts you would have to look for nesting dies or look closely at the measurements to make sure that that particular set meets your needs, but I rarely mat (and have given up 5x7 for A2 because everything seems to be made for A2) so it's not an issue for me. I love using my Big Shot to cut card fronts!
Thanks for the feedback. It's funny when I watch different vlogs and people can call off different measurements like 3 and a quarter (3/4) and I'm sitting there trying to zoom in so I can see where to mark it on my Martha Stewart score board or Fiskar trimmer lol what can I say fractions are not my thing, but thanks for the tip with the rectangle dies (I know I have some somewhere I just need to find them)

Reason: spelling
I have and use the A2 and A7 size sets. Both A&B sizing for both. Perfect measurements every time. They're sure nothing fancy, but I don't worry about being "just a hair" off and having to trim and adjust. I also use them for framing sentiments or stamped images. I bought the full A2 size set first, and then realized the A7 sets would be needed. For personal cards I mainly do A2,but for work I'll do A7 size so there is enough room for everybody to sign. I highly recommend them.

There is a thread on this back when they were introduced. I have the A-2, A-7, and a square set, but I usually make A-7 cards. I keep the matting die set on my desk rather than with my die storage; I want it convenient for frequent use. Also, I cut a number of white cardstock bases from the second to the largest die and keep them handy to grab. Sometimes I use the largest to cut some color bases from scrap cardstock and keep those handy too.
When the cut lines are so precise it is much easier to get a good placement when you adhere them to the card. They are definitely worthwhile.
I did not buy the second size sets, just seemed like overkill.
Thanks for the info . Seems like it's a sound investment (especially since I somehow misplaced my square dies) but I'm going to purchase them this weekend.
Ohhh, what are these you speak of? xD I have to go look them up. I love matting and framing.. so this might be just the thing for me... or are they more for those who don't do that? *google, here I come*

What exactly is the difference between the A & B sets? I'd like a set for A2 and for A7, but I don't want to have to buy FOUR sets. :/ I'm also seeing a rounded edged set... curved, sorry. And a 6x6 size. Nice. I am reading the descriptions on the spellbinders website for the A and B sets, but I'm not finding any differences. Or maybe I need sleep.

The A & B sets work together to give you a narrower border when you layer them. So you don't need them both, but you'll probably end up wanting them in the end. Or maybe that's just me; I always think I need things in ALL the colors.
I know that when these came out, I couldn't figure out why anyone would want the plain sets when you can cut rectangles to size so easily with a paper trimmer. Then I needed to make a batch of invitations for a wedding shower, and being able to cut 4 layers of various sizes with one pass thru my Big Shot (and the bigger cutting platform) was much easier than the paper trimmer. And the dies give such a nice finished edge
Not to be an enabler or anything, ;) but Joanne's is having an online sale 40% off dies through Saturday. I've got a couple Card Creators in my cart, haven't pushed the button yet.
Thank you cbet! I'll probably add them to my collection, but I'm happy I can add one at a time and still be able to use them.
hahaha, CovingtonCrafter!! I got the email from Joann's too... I have already blown through my hobby budget for the month.. so maybe next month. *sigh*

I find the basic A2 A&B quiet useful. I've several fancy frames, not worth the cost, use very rarely.
The A2 A and B sets are on Amazon for about $15 and $17 with Prime free shipping, in case that's a decent price. On Joanne's I saw about $32, though of course coupons help.
The A and B sets both cut with nesting spacing at 1/4". However, when mixed and matched together you get nesting at 1/8", which is the perfect for layering and matting!
To anyone else who is interested: I bought sets A & B for A2 card size and I love them! I use the largest size from both sets a lot, and some middle sizes for panels. I bought at Scrap-Mart.com when they had all Spellbinders 50% off...free shipping most of the time. Better than Joann!

They are out of stock there. where is the best price to buy these online?

Prices change from week to week - have you tried googling? Or googling and selecting "shopping" at the top of the google page? That often gets you a sense of pricing.
I have both A & B sets and I use them for making frames. I like having both sets because it increase my options. Funny, but I never use them for layers just frames.
I have the A2 Matting Basics A and B. Loooove them. It took me awhile to buy them, because I thought it was silly to buy a rectangle die I could cut myself. Hah! Since I can't cut straight line for the life of me I finally caved and bought them. I'm so happy I did.
I had to keep reading b/c to me Card Creators are the other Spellbinder sets-usually a big decorative frame and some accessories. I forgot these guys are called that too.
I was so thrilled when I found these because I was on my third paper cutter and not getting straight lines...this takes the pain right out of it. At that time they were new and 30 bucks a set! Yeesh. I had to wait for the price to drop-I think I got them at Scrap Mart too. My most useful set of dies ever. I wanted that 1/8 layer edge.
I have the A and B for both A2 and A7. I wont get the curved edge-I can just use a corner rounder punch.
What I am so sad about is I didnt grab the A6 which disappeared off the planet I think after the first year? Many people never even got to see them.
I waffle on the squares. I dont make a lot of square cards. Yet anyway.
