Anyone pre-order Cuttlebug new releases from Oh My Crafts??
Has anyone recevied their order from Oh My Crafts on the pre-order items? I thought they were shipping in June but there's no movement on my order when I check the status on the site. Anyone else? Thanks.
nothing here either. i thought shipments were being received in june by retailers, which would mean july shipments to buyers. but maybe i misunderstood the timeline.
I have ordered as well and no movement ... but it says on the site that they will be shipped late June early July... but they put the transaction thru on my visa already.. it is my first order with them .. hope all goes well
I understood the same thing from Oh My Craft's that it would be late June, early July. I have ordered from them before and some item's took awhile to receive and it wasn't a pre-order. Some item's took around 10 days. I pre-ordered from 7kidscollegefund, alway's very dependable.
I spoke to my rep at Provo Craft and they said some of the new folders will ship after CHA in July and the rest will ship in August. My experience with release dates is that they are rarely accurate and normally they are late.
There have been a couple threads here somewhere about OMC. They have had some major problems filling orders. A lot of unhappy people. I will not order from them again. Too much negative stuff.
I placed an order. The 4th edition will ship in mid to late July, and the seasonal in August. This is my first order with them. I'm looking forward to getting the new designs. Eileen

I have ordered from OMC before and have had no problems at all. I understood the site to say that they would be shipping in July & Aug if you got your pre-order to them in June.
I've ordered from Oh My Crafts in the past and will never order again. They take your money and when they do ship your order, then you find out if your order is complete. If anything is out of stock or backordered, you don't know it till you get the partial order. There is no communication from them. They have your money from the start, even for the items you don't get with the initial order.
I had to e-mail them as to when I would get the rest of my order. They kept telling me 'next week' and that lasted for 3 weeks. I finally cancelled the balance of the order and had a difficult time getting my money back. But finally did.
I will never order from them again! They send e-mails nearly every day of sale things but when you place an order you don't know if it's in stock till you get a partial order.
In my opinion they are poor at responding to communications. I feel long wait time and poor customer service is no benefit even for discounted prices.
I'll wait till my local stores get in the merchandise or other sites have them in stock and can ship. I don't pre-order.

I just used ohmycrafts and had EXCELLANT service, in fact I seriously doubt if she made any profit off my order because of her service. I ordered eight of the embossing folders which at that time included free shipping. Unfortunately and at no fault of hers there were a few that were backordered and so she sent me the first order and then sent the second order at her own expense. I know this may not seem like a big deal but she easily spent over ten dollars shipping to me since the 2nd shipment was $4.75. I honestly felt bad and wished that she would have contacted me and asked if I would wait for the b/o folders since they were only about one week behind the others. I would have told her yes just to send them in one order but she didn't. From what I understand this is ran by one woman and that is not easy to do. Things go wrong with all companies at one time or another and I think everyone deserves a break now and then. I get her a big Thumbs up with my service and highly recommend her to anyone. She also offers great deals and most of what I read about her has backordered items involved and those are not her fault!! Please keep that in mind.
If everyone is talking about the new 18 embossing folders and the new combos, the scheduled release on those is end of July/beginning of August, not June (we all wish). I don't think that June was ever announced as a release date, so that is probably an error on the site of any retailer saying that.
I am totally keeping my fingers crossed that Provo learned their lesson on the last go around and will not be repeating the birds & swirls (and swiss dots, and floral fantasy and perfect paisley and so on) nightmare of 2008. I will have to swear off Provo preorders if they do it again!
Anytime you're talking about Provo Craft, lol, PARTICULARLY when it's the Cricut/Cuttlebug stuff, it's them that's usually the problem, not the retailer. PC is odd, to say the least. They don't seem to have any rhyme or reason as to when they ship, in what order to what retailer, etc. It's frustrating for everyone, retailer as much as customer.
I have heard a June date referred to, but that was for the approximate release date to retailers. I'd think an additional 2 weeks isn't unreasonable to expect subsequent shipping to the individual customers, considering the retailer will have a large number of orders to get out.
They have got to be the SLOWEST online store ever. I'll never use them again.

Provo Craft may not have a lot to say about the shipment matter either....all this stuff is coming from China on those huge cargo ships.

I am having major issues with OMC right now. It appears they have lost one of the 2 pre orders that I placed. They keep sending me the one invoice I have a copy of. I have been emailing them since May requesting a copy of the invoice that my credit card was charged. They have not replyed to my emails to them over the last 2 weeks. And the order that did process never gave me the 10% off that would appear upon checkout.
This is my second disappointing order with them, the first were some pre order books arriving in May advertised as a great mothers day gift. Well needless to say I was running around a couple day prior to Mothers day searching for a gift.
I will now have to go through my credit card company & BBB since I am getting no response from them.
I've been watching this thread - since I did place a pre-order with Oh My Crafts. I'm crossing my fingers - since the charge went through a loooong time ago, that I won't lose any options if I wait until the pre-orders start shipping. Then if I have a problem, I'd like to know that I have some recourse - YKWIM?

Yikes! I'm with you! I placed a HUGE preorder of the new folders when I saw it recommended on a popular blog. I've never ordered anything through them. Now I'm really nervous!

I placed a pre-order from OMC at the end of May. The web-site is now saying that they expect to ship orders from late July to mid August. I have ordered the majority of my Cuttlebug stuff from them and have never had any problems. I was always impressed with their service and their prices and will continue to do business with them!

:grin: I have the new folders, I have the new folders, na na na na! Our LSS got them in today, and I bought the leaf A2 one, the Christmas Ornaments, and several others. I also bought the spider web for my friends birthday. Oooh, I can't wait to play!
How we got them here in NZ before you guys I don't know, but I'm very happy!
