Default Already have an Expression, should I get a Cuttlebug - need advice!?

Hi Everyone!!

Newbie checking in. I have an Expressions machine which I am just getting used to learning how to use. Michael's has Cuttlebugs on sale for 50 percent off. I was just there and picked one up since it was the last one. Is there an advantage to having both machines? If you have both the Expressions and Cuttlebug do you use both of them? Thanks in advance for your help!

I have a wizard as well as an E, The wizard only gets used when I need to dry emboss something or the occasional nestie when I've stamped then changed my mind about how I want to layer. I'm more likely to sell my remaining dies when the wizard dies and get a sissix texture boutique than I am a replacement diecutter.

I have both. I use the CB for embossing (they have awesome folders) as well as cutting my Nesties. I use both all of the time!

I have both and a Big Shot. The CB is great but you have to be careful. Some of them seem to break easily. I broke mine and then found a lot of other people with the same problem. Should be okay if you are only using for embossing cardstock. I would move up to a Big Shot if you are going to use dies at all.

I have a Wishblade (automated cutting machine used with a PC) and also a Cuttlebug.

WB works great for nearly every cutting job - when I have my laptop or am near my PC. CB works great for quick cuts and embossing.

I think it's fine to have both.

"Nesties" are ....http://spellbinderspaperarts.com/
And they are very addictive. You've been warned. ;)

I do think you "need" something to use with Nesties and embossing folders. If all you use that CB for is Nesties (okay, and the other Spellbinders dies) and embossing folders, it's still a bargain.

Nesties = Nestabilities = crack for papercrafters

100% YES on the Cuttlebug!!!! I couldn't live without mine, that is for sure. And you can use most of the dies in it, so it's a winner in my book.

Ohhh and I so agree with "TheotherMeg"...Nestabilities is for sure my crack..hehehe

You absolutely need it. I have the original cricut, a big shot, and a Quickutz silhouette (computer based cutter) and I use all three of them. I wish I had a cuttlegut because they are so darn cut but I just can't justify the need for one when I already have the Big Shot.
