Album Help?

Ok I've ALWAYS used Creative Memories albums but I'm finding it to be a huge waste of money since I cover up the album pages with my layouts! :confused: I just did an album for my sister that was non-CM I bought it at Archivers but I hated it the damn thing wouldn't lay flat and the center always rounded out (kwim?) I want an album that lays "true flat" like CM is there anything out there like that and I just haven't seen it???

Suggestions are welcome!!!

PS The three ring binder ones look nice but it doesn't give you the two page spread look! :(

to be honest, I only use the CM ones. You can't bet them.
I haven't tried any others so I'm curious to see what everyone else thinks too!

You know, I am a CM album fan as well. I have never had a quality issue with them...and they are lifetime guaranteed, aren't they? Know what you are saying about covering the pages, though! I do it too, but I guess it doesn't bug me since I assume I would use a piece of plain CS if I did a top loading album...

i use 3-rings all the time, and i make prolly about 50% 2-pg l/os. the space doesnt bother me. but i know it does to some people.

if you have a post-bound album thats bulging and doesnt lay flat, you prolly need some post extenders and spacers. thats the only way i can get my albums to close nicely. a little investment... and a pain because most companies sell their extenders and spacers w/extra page protectors. you can make your own spacers by cutting down chipboard and punching holes yourself. but to me its worth it. i'm not a cm album fan, i have aunts who used it and i couldnt find the beauty in it... imho... but they loved it so it worked for them!
