Default acrylic blocks

I am tired of searching around for my blocks . I would like to purchase the case and blocks from stamping up unless there is another set out there but I cannot find it. from what I can see it does nor look like su blocks have grid lines and I like grid lines. I know people are putting vinyl on their blocks for stick does vinyl come with a grid pattern? any suggestions?

I love my case from SU. I've heard you can get vinyl with grid lines at Joanne's. Quilters use it. Good Luck!

I don't know about vinyl - there is quilter's template material and they do have one with a grid. I made my own stamp press and used it. Kaleidoscope Creations: DIY stamp press (the link doesn't show it with the grid though. I added that later.) The down side is it's kind of frosted like, not clear, so it's a bit hard to see through.

I've since made myself another kind of stamp tool using a quilting ruler and a hinge. ;)

SU did sell vinyl cling with grid lines for their blocks. There is a set on EBay:

Just wondering????? Do you think you could use an old clear VHS case to store stamping blocks? I haven't tried it but they kind of look like they could hold the blocks. That way you have the gridded blocks you like with an Upcycled VHS case. If you don't have any I bet you can get them at a local resale shop pretty cheap.

I got tired of fishing around for mine, too, so I got a medicine shelf to keep on my desktop. It looks like this empty(ish):

And like this with blocks and tools:

I gave it away when we moved, and I have a MISTI now, so I no longer use it, but it was wonderful when I did! You can find them a lot of different places (I found mine at a grocery store). Here's a link to it at walmart.com: InterDesign Med Plus Drawer Caddy, 12", Clear

My blocks were from Close to My Heart, and weren't gridded (but they were well-loved, obviously), but they were great sizes and weights. I still have them and use a couple of sizes regularly (tiny ones, mostly).

I still have all my blocks and I keep them in the largest bin from this set:
Amazon.com - Madesmart 3 Tray Pack, Granite - Utensil Organizers
Mine is older and not exactly the same, but same size and same company.

I have the biggest ones laying flat on one half and all the smaller ones standing up on the other half. I have to do that since my worktable is a pull-out desktop and everything has to be 3 inches high or less.
