Thanks SO much for sharing the darling template! You did a great job - it was SO easy to make & too cute!! Here is a gift set I made up. The purse puts the "finishing touch" on the set! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I made some for a friend to use for teacher gifts. She wanted them bigger, so i used a 12x12 sheet of CS and scored at 3" and 4"; they turned out to be the perfect size. (she's putting in Harry & David chocolates). I used 2 strips of CS 3/4 x 11 for the 2 handles instead of ribbon & attached with brads.

Woozers. I had made this when it first came out, but I didn't really like the ribbon strap they suggested. How AWESOME are your bags with the embellishements and the paper handles and brads and and and. Oh I just love yours. I'll have to go re-try this one!!! Thanks for the inspiration to jazz it up!!
I can't get the file to open either.....when I right-click, my computer does not allow me to click on 'save target as'. :(
Could someone plz send me the file?? Tks!
Rhonda
I hope it's okay that I am posting this. I posted some tote bags in the gallery that I made using the template from the March issue of Paper Crafts. A couple of people were looking for the template. Here it is.
** PLEASE NOTE - TO OPEN THE PDF FILE, YOU NEED TO RIGHT CLICK ON THE LINK AND CLICK 'SAVE TARGET AS'. SAVE IT TO YOUR COMPUTER AND THEN OPEN IT. CLICKING ON THE LINK WILL NOT WORK. **
It opened okay for me. You probably just need a new version of Adobe which you can download free off the Internet.

I have to agree with everyone...these were just too cute!! I can never believe that something so cute can be so easy, so I used your template and just whatever I had laying around and well...as you can imagine....in no time at all I had myself an adorable (slightly plain..LOL) tote!
Thanks so much for sharing!! Glad to read how you did the handles too...thought it was ribbon on some of your samples.
This is just so sweet, thank you for sharing
One question please, is there a pattern like this where the sides overlap each other? When I make it, the sides dont completely cover each other. I tried to modify the pattern but no such luck. Anybody that can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!!!
I have used this template and the sides overlap for me. One thing I had to be aware of right from the start was that the pattern was not actual size. I simply take the measurements and mark my lines as the pattern shows. It seemed to work fine for me and trust me...LOL...I aint no pro.. ;)
A big THANK you to DeeLite for posting the pictures she took from our meet on Saturday! They are great Dee. We appreciate all the effort that went into posting them!
Looking forward to next time...
and, I'm still looking for my adhesive eraser...if you all knew how messy I was, you would know why that little thingy is so important to me!
Thank you so much for posting, and for your super clear instructions on how to open it. This is another example of why I love this site! I am going to log off and make one right now! TFS
Scarlett, thank you so much for posting the instructions. This past week i made my first tote and matching cards for my best friend Liz. There are 8 pictures, so rather than post all the links, you guys can just go to my gallery.
My SIL pointed the instructions out to me and gave me a new twist - using eyelets and then pulling ribbon through for handles.
Have a great day!

I couldn't open this file either. I tried the right click instructions, but eventually got an error message. Is there any way you could e-mail me the instructions? [email protected]
I couldn't get this file to open by right clicking and following the directions. But dumb me, I finally tried it by just left clicking, and lo and behold, it opened.
