I found a wonderful idea by Tayloredexpressions using a lunchbox tin as a monthly card holder. I couldn't find a template in the Forums for the calendar, so I got to work and made one.
The Lunchbox tin is at: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
My pdf file is included below. Hope you enjoy this project.
I had a request for a Word file and have added it also.
Thanks for sharing your idea. I too thought it would be nice to be able to write everyone's birthday on each divider. Wouldn't this make a very nice Mother's day present filled with cards and birth dates?
I just ordered 12 lunch tins. I am making these for my Christmas gifts this year. I love the calendar idea. Must Case that. Thanks for sharing your wonderful idea.
If you can't open the file, right click on the file, click Save Target As, and save it to your computer. You can then open it with Adobe - just remember where you saved it <grin>. This recommendation is from experience.
I keep looking and looking and looking for the actual template for the top of the tin and around the latch with no luck...?? Help ! [email protected]
Try this link, if it doesn't work go to resources, projects and look for the lunch tin project there is a template there for download. Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers

Wow! That worked great! Thanks for the tip. I have such a problem opening these on AOL..........
I found your template just in time! I am going out of town to visit my sister and SIL. We're making these tins and matching cards. My sister's New Year's resolution was to get organized on sending birthday cards out this year! Thanks!
